hello,
i lost my electrum password. the seed i still have. so i moved my electrum.dat out of its folder, started electrum, clicked restore and put in the seed.
"i can not decode this" is what i get. i never changed the gap limit or anything. just to make sure, the seed is the 12 words, right ?
i put them in with the spaces inbetween the single words, i also tried without spaces. i tried to change the gap limit, although i never changed it in the beginning.
i have about a coin in there. i can look at it sitting there when i open electrum. but a can not get it. really frustrating.
is there any way to recover my coin ?
