Here is the statement from coins.ph:
Quote
As we said prior to the fork, we will not be adding support for BCH/BCC; the protection of your BTC has remained our highest priority. We are still monitoring the viability of the BCH/BCC tokens and will make a decision as we know more information.

There are a lot of exchanges that wont support BCC. Does anyone know what they are planning on doing with them? Those exchanges  are the custodians of our private keys and those BCC are rightfully ours. They should find a way to let us have them.

Your Bitcoins that you keep in any exchange or web wallet are not your bitcoin. You gave them to a website to keep them for you. You don't have the private key belonging to the wallet. No private key...No Bitcoin. It's like with money and bank: you don't own the money, you give it to the bank with a promise to return it back to you anytime you want, it doesn't mean the bank will always be able to return it to you

I think if you want to get you free BCC then moved out your coins from them and go to a exchanges that accepts or support the split giving you the free coins. Of course if they have your private keys then they can have your free BCC/BCH then. For me its blatantly stealing what's supposed to be yours. If you guys can petitioned or put a class suit against them, maybe just maybe you can put a pressure and will then accepts BCC/BCH. Coinbase customers file a class lawsuit against them, so they have no choice but to make a complete U-Turn on their decision to allow customers to have their BCC/BCH equivalent. But I guess its too late now because you may have missed the opportunity to sell them when they are like hot pancakes. The price has since plummeted to $200.

You're late already dude, there's no way you can get your BCC/BCH on coinsph now if you didn't send your coins from coinsph to other wallet before August 1st because you can only get your BCC/BCH right after the fork, if and only if you hold the private keys of that wallet.
And first and foremost coinsph make a blog, email, share it on their Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts regarding this matter so there's no way you will not get this info they mentioned that, if you want to get your BCC/BCH they suggest that you have to send your BTC from coinsph to the address you owned.

Too late.. Don't expect to get BCH from them as they clearly stated that they wont support BCh and if you did able to read up that message or reminder then you would really need to transfer on other wallets if you do really like to get BCH. Just like on coinbase too they didn't support bch but they are already being sued because users should really get bch regarding on their bitcoin holdings and it turns out that coinbase is making big money out of that the same story on coins.ph.. Hope they would be sued up too. Grin

Just expect that coins.ph will changed their mind but I think it will not be granted.

It's a clear announcement worldwide that in order to have your BCC's you must not keep it on exchanges. Some people really don't know how to follow simple instructions.

I receive the same thing that they are not supporting BCC or BCH and i think they are getting the benefits because they can get our bcc from their own.. that they can sell anytime in the market..
If you really want to get a bcc if you are holding bitcoins from electrum you can import it into electron wallet but make sure you transfer first your bitcoin to the safety place so that your bitcoin will not gone.. because there are issue that i heard when they are importing their private keys with bitcoin into electron cash..

Make crypto as your bank.

yes there will always be as long as you don't have the private key of your wallet it is technically not yours. using a web wallet is not necessary so as much as possible don't use

them but for exchanges, it is inevitable because most of us uses our bitcoins in trades or converting it to our local currency so make sure that the site is reputable enough.

for the bcc, they probably have your bcc's but you can't blame it on them, most exchanges notified their users first on what they're gonna do particularly the ones who claim that

they won't support bcc. i'm sure they have advised users that if they want to claim their bcc, they have to move it into a different wallet which they fully control.

Everything has been said here as they are not going to support bcc/bch so don't expect that you'll be getting that coin from them.

There's always be a chance to lose your bitcoin on any web wallet or exchange because they might get hack as you don't have the control to your private key.

Yes there'a a high risk if you store your coins in any exchanges even though they're trusted.
Just remember as long as you didnt hold your private key or seeds it isnt safe. It can be hack by any third party anytime. Yeah you can store only small amount of coins in an online and exchanges wallet.
Dont trust any exchanges or you still haven't heard hot issues about these exchanges.
Is it always you that liable to all your coins, so store it at your own risk.

Coins.Ph is now the leading Bitcoin wallet specifically serving the members mostly based in the Philippines. I am a member too and this is actually my first Bitcoin wallet and this remains to be so popular even if Abra is also competing with less fees and promising less hassles.

Now, with this announcement I would say that this is a big good news to many members of Coins.Ph. As for me, I transferred my Bitcoin from Coins.ph to my Bittrex account because I understand that Coins.Ph is not supportive of Bitcoincash and according to their updates they might not be able to distribute BCH.

And with this turnaround, many members would then be happy. We should note that NOT releasing BCH to the members can be a daylight robbery since the wallet has received them accordingly so they should be distributed in a fair and right manner.

I've spoken to one of their reps and it seems that they're still thinking about it. I have withdrawn all my bitcoins on the site before August 1 and moved it to Bittrex. Made a hefty profit because of that too. And if they're gonna give out the potential BCH tokens during the fork, I wonder how would that be possible on their platform knowing that they don't have BCH wallets integrated.

What do you think about coins.ph you think they use their funds or bitcoin address to claim their own bcc???
Since they are not support bitcoin cash according to their announcement or blog i think they are getting the benefits of claiming bitcoin cash..
Well since we do not know what actually they are doing behind the business maybe they are claiming some bcc just to sell and gaining more profit ..

Coins.ph already updated their blogs. Did you guys haven't read it?

So at least they are now acknowledging BCC and they are now thinking of giving us option to claim our free coins. They say it will take them 30 days to make the decision on how to determined efforts to deal with BCC. This is a welcome news for us Pinoy, however, I think I only have dust coins there as I have withdraw all of them to a secure wallet before the split. They said 2 options will be provided to us. I guess we have to wait and see if we are going to get BCC or coins.ph will convert it automatically to BTC.

Quote
We would like to provide an update to Coins.ph customers regarding Bitcoin Cash (BCC).  Prior to the recent Bitcoin network fork, we informed our customers that we had no plans to support BCC, and anyone wishing to receive BCC needed to move their BTC out of their Coins.ph wallet ahead of the fork.

Given the results of the BCC fork and the financial value it now represents, we are now exploring several different approaches for handling the forked BCC value.  As of now, we are evaluating two primary possibilities:

Adding BCC support and crediting customers wallets in BCC according to the amount of BTC held in the wallet at the time of block 478,558 (August 1 9:16 pm Philippines time, the time the fork occurred).
Converting BCC created during the fork to BTC, and crediting the respective customer accounts based on the corresponding amount of BTC held at the time of the fork (net of any costs we incur for the conversion and transfer).
We expect to complete our technical feasibility review within the next 30 days. This timeline will allow us to conduct a thorough technical and security evaluation of handling BCC as a currency. Once a final decision on a course of action has been reached we will provide an update.

We remain committed to looking after the best interests of our customers, and appreciate your patience as we ensure that we take the responsible, secure route for handling your funds.

Best,

The Coins.ph Team

Not all online exchange supports BCH or BCC and coin.ph and poloniex falls into that category however poloniex have supported BCH and i think coin.ph will do likewise.

Hmm I do not think that we will be given a chance to have BCC in the wallet that we are using. It is so sad that they will not going to have the same thing as bittrex and any other wallets did during the split.  Undecided
