Hello,

Thank you for your help. I’m still not understanding something about my Bitcoin wallet address and/or Public key. Question:
If I entered my original btc-address on several different faucets then withdrew btcs;
Do I need to change my btc address each time I withdraw or Is this now my public key to continue to enter when asked for btc address?
Please know that this is a totally new thing to me. Would you mind giving me as much detail as I can process pls?
Thank you Ofir, for this platform.

Could you be a bit more specific what you want to do? If you want to send your bitcoins to an exchange you should go to https://blockchain.info and input your priv key, after that you have to send it from there to the exchange of your likes.

Be ULTRA carefull with doing stuff like that, i do not have any hard wallet myself but i would recommend it for people who don't know what they are doing.

Even the link above could be tampered with if i were to be a fraud.

Press this link if you want to know what i mean https://blockchain.info

Privat key or BTC address can not be changed, but what needs to be secured is private key, lest you enter your private key anywhere, except on the official blockchain website

I'm really sorry if this isn't helpful, I'm confused as well. Is the private key the same as the BTC address? because what I do is I enter my BTC address to faucets. I never changed it.. Is it not secure that way? I'm using coins.ph btw. Thanks!

never publish your private keys. As the name is saying, they are private and not to be shared with anyone else. You will need to use your puplic key for your faucets.

Your question is more confusing than what you are experiencing, I do not want to publish your private key, because private key is static (can not be changed), and your wallet also can not be changed

Hello,

Thank you for your help. I’m still not understanding something about my Bitcoin wallet address and/or Public key. Question:
If I entered my original btc-address on several different faucets then withdrew btcs;
Do I need to change my btc address each time I withdraw or Is this now my public key to continue to enter when asked for btc address?
Please know that this is a totally new thing to me. Would you mind giving me as much detail as I can process pls?
Thank you Ofir, for this platform.
Because faucet rewards are now reduced because of high value of bitcoin i think using the same address is okay unless you do not want to leave a paper trial and it will allow you to reach your so that you can use it for refs and reach threshold faster

I am sure he is not confused may be he has just little experience in computer.As for wallet address, you don't need to generate address each time you are asked a wallet address. write  down your wallet address and use it to log in anytime you are asked in a registered  faucet. Each address you generate is for one faucet.

Public key = receiving address

It is considered a best practice to use a new public key each time you transact. But you could use one address again and again.

It depends on you wallet. Official wallet on withdrawal sends change to new address (the pair of private/public keys). Some to your main address back.

Anyway you can always use your main address for incoming transactions
Thanks i was looking for that long time ago, and that's really good answer. It solved my problem.
