Crazy: some guy has half a million USD on Poloniex

As we all know by now, Poloniex is off. They are claiming it's "connectivity issues". If I had just 1000 bucks there, I would already be nervous.
I went to their twitter, and their last update was 3 hours ago. Reading the comments, I see this:

It's crazy how much money some people have. To think he has half a million in some cryptocurrency exchange. That guy must be so rich.

That doesn't make a surprise for me. There are some people have made thousand million dollars just in a month like this.

Sadly poloniex already down, There is no more update from the team as far as i know. Those are having a lot of funds in polo can't sleep.

That is pretty nuts, but not as crazy as the guy who had roughly 20m+ on polo. Think they invested in a few BTC in stratis ico and it took off. That will take ages to get off of polo

It depends. If you don't do any verification, you can only withdraw 2000 USD a month, so thats 24000 USD a year. It would take ages to get a million ut, but if you do the verification, you can get a ton of money out, but im not sure if there is a limit.

I guess the limit is 100000 USD a day, so it would take 10 months to get a million out.

I didn't have time to read down the entire thread, but what is the total based on. I know the exchanges can use some crazy systems with their withdrawal and deposit addresses and maybe that is a false piece of data based on the fact that is actually several people's money. when I get back I'm going to take a closer look at the information you put up there and we will go from there.
