yes 1. I moved my BTC to a new wallet/addresses 2. I installed the Electron Cash wallet and confirmed the hashes (SHA1). 3. I inserted my old private key, and send the available BCC immediately to a new BCC address. 4 now waiting for exchange lol

I did put my private key into a Bitcoin Cash wallet and I think it is good, I am not experiencing any problems with it.

I don't know the question but what I did is send my Bitcoins into a wallet where I can hold my private key like Electrum and MyCelium. Then I copied the private key, open the Electron Cash created a new wallet and then copied the private key there, waited for some second and it's done.

It's totally not safe what you did. In only one machine? Or two?

Nope, I will be hesitant to just use any unknown wallet service. The best way to do this, will be to pull this into a well known

reputable wallet and then to split the coins. https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/beginners-guide-claiming-your-bitcoin-cash-and-selling-it/

I am not fully comfortable recommending any Bitcoin Cash software at this stage. Here is a little warning from Electrum :

Which "well known reputable wallet"? Are you also sitting on the fence until a 100% safe solution will be published?

I used only one computer and I have everything secured now. i know what I'm doing otherwise i wouldn't be doing this. For a lotta if not most people it's better not to bother. The risk is too high
