As a Dane it's easy to buy Bitcoins. You can easily make a SEPA banktransfer to exchanges like MtGox or BitStamp, and you have Bitcoins within days. You can also use a service like BitcoinNordic which sends Bitcoins within minutes if you've specific banks.
However, when reading in the community, it seems it's very hard to buy Bitcoins in some countries. From what I could gather, countries like United Kingdom and Cyprus has made it difficult.
With "easy to buy", I mean it's accessible by a normal bank transfer. I know the ideal would be credit cards, but we're not in wonderland just yet.
So, my question is:
- In which countries is it currently difficult to buy Bitcoins?

I'll start off by backing you up on your example: UK.
I bought mine all through blockchain.info/ Sofort before that got stamped on.
Hence there's a lot of Bitcoin business on ebay.co.uk.

I would agree with manbearpig but localbitcoins.com seems to do a good job of fixing that issue.
Not that I've used it yet, I've been broke since before blockchain.info stopped their UK transfer options. But right now BTC is looking a little cheaper there than MTGox.

Probably countries cut off from the international banking system (North Korea, Iran...) as well as countries that nobody really trusts (Nigeria...).

There are no restrictions on buying Bitcoin in the UK and it is very simple and straightforward.

not sure where people are thinking that the UK is the hardest.. i just bought some bitcoins using bitbargain.co.uk
wire transfer to receiving bitcoins took less then 10 minutes.
what i do find hard though is getting FIAT into an american based exchange. but getting a bitcoin from england is even easier then most countries.
