I am in no way affiliated with mcxNOW first of all.

But honestly, vircurex has shown time and time again they aren't secure.

Anyone else think mcxNOW should become the "new vircurex"?  Should migrate over from vircurex to mcxnow.

Developer is active on the exchange and is highly confident in the backend security of his exchange. Apparently it is built to be able to support millions of users.

Not to mention MNC is rising and DVC is rising over there.

I know this looks like promotional phooey, but seriously, why WOULDN"T you use mcxnow over vircurex? How isn't mcxnow better than vircurex?

Vircurex has a shit front end and back end.

This is what pisses me off.

You have a bunch of stupid bars next to your username so you feel you can say "oh yeah mcxnow sucks"

Well hey, how about you substantiate your claim? WHY should vircurex be supported over mcxnow?

It isn't spam if your position has no fundamental basis.

Well, mcxnow spammers are pissing me off with their amateurish attempts to promote (read: spam) that site here in planned and often paid campaigns.

But I've seen one banned this morning, hopefully that's what is going to happen with all of you until you stop opening thread after thread after thread about it.

And I don't give a shit, let alone support vircurex but I don't see vircurex members spamming this forum unlike mcxnow one.

I've had a positive experience working with Vircurex (I've asked many questions, most out of curiosity and not necessity.)

I think they are good, legit people but the past couple of months have shown that they don't have the most secure site.  I like the guys, but after their recent history, I don't trade much over there.

If they can get by for a 3-4 months without being DDoSed or exploited, I may start trading their again because I like trading with currency pairs other than just BTC and (x)Coin.

I hope the best for Vircurex, but today I exclusively trade ad MCXNow.

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

Vircurex is already back, but I still think this warrants a serious discussion of mcxNOW vs Vircurex.

So far I have seen nobody with any good reasons to hate on mcxNOW.

The only advantage vircurex has over mcxnow is volume. Which is the issue we are trying to address.

seleme, that's very bold of you. I ask you to support your position and you still dodge the question.

Why is it so completely unfathomable that mcxNOW is a good exchange? Get your head out of your ass and be a little open minded.

Vircurex is more supported than mcxnow because they have more coins, you only trade mincoin, ltc, and diying solid coin, why dont you add all the others??

I feel lazy moving my funds to mcxnow only to trade mncoin or diying solidcoin.

Wow, guys, if MCXNow promotion is getting spammy... please stop.  I am positive no one is getting paid to promote this site.  The problem is that the exchange is good.  No seriously it is good.  However, RealSolid is a bit *notorious* around these parts, so any project he creates is branded a scam.  (Do your own research, however, I personally think much of the historical accusations have been unwarranted and based on disagreements with the guy-- not scamming behavior.)

Anyway, I'm actually going to request that my fellow MCXNow fans keep it cool.  I believe in the exchange because it's fast, reliable and cheap.  If it really is a good site, and we're not a bunch of liars, I think we can and will attract new adopters by simple organic discussion.  It may not happen as fast as you want so that we can get more MNC movement, but that's ok.  Otherwise, spamming BTC Talk just makes the site appear illegit.

Some real discussion here. Thank you. I would like to point out once again, I am unaffiliated with mcxNOW.

I agree with you though, they need to add a couple more of the major coins. They did add DVC today.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jQlm5cpv5AhlrOrggoodUukSk-wyxvMW7Ey-xv6uDgg/edit This is a list of improvements you can request to the admin of mcxNOW. It is actively checked.

What coins do you think mcxNOW should add? Some coins/having too many coins takes away credibility. You dont wanna be a slut like bter.com lol

Add BCQ, FC2, & FRC to MCXNow and I'll move my business there.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

Totally agree. Mcxnow has a very professional system. The admin might have had some bad rep in the past, but I can 1000% assure annybody that there is no bounty and this is not a scam.

BQC, FC2, RYC, all those new BS coins would never be added to MCXNow if I had to guess.

I guess my question to the people who are upset about this.. How can one start a discussion organically about MCXNow? It seems like even suggesting using it, with supporting arguments is considered spam.. How else do you start a discussion?

You could make an argument for FC2 & RYC being "BS" Coins.  But if you lump BQC into that argument, you're simply too ignorant on the subject of alt cryptocurrencies to discuss the matter further.

Vircurex has always responded to any issues I've had in a timely manner... I trust them despite the difficulties they have had.  My balances have been safe so far.

And, you can even get a percentage of trade fees for anyone you refer.

Well, make this thread a discussion and leave it there. And tell the gang from there to stop opening thread after thread and put all they have in it.

And you'll be fine and it won't be considered as spam.

But when admin over there pay people to open threads here to spam his shit, than expect people to hit back.

I can concede to BQC. I know BQC has been around for a long ass time, but it being added to bter just.. killed it. BQC doesn't seem ready for a major exchange yet. Or ever even maybe.

I know BQC isn't on the level of the new coins coming out these days of course.

All of the coins have value if someone is willing to trade. So there is no harm in listing as many coins as you want. The market will correct the problem people will get burned and stop mining shit coins. Doesn't really hurt the exchanges because really they are just hooking two parties up and taking a cut. Competition is good it will all work itself out list them all.
