Don't fall for cloud mining. If you will invest $1000, I can guarantee you that you wouldn't be able to earn your $1000 back even in a year. Rather it is better to buy some Bitcoin and hold it for a year. It will get you more return on your investment.

I just wanted to try cloud mining. I heard a lot about hashflare. So i was thinking to test it with a small amount of maybe 40$-50$

Whatever names I just took will offer you legit way of earning money with cloud mining contracts. BUT it is not for sure that they will pay after long term contract. Your return of investment with $40 would be more than a year.

With $40 investment you will get around 0.05 TH/s of hash rate on genesis or hashflare. With this hashrate your daily earnings would be in cents and monthly would be few dollars. This won't be your net profit as you have to pay for electricity costs and maintenance charges. So after deductions you will have couple of dollars in a month. That would take you around one and half year to return 40 dollars.

So as you see that's big risk for few dollars.

Now you decide how you feel about investing into it.

Just want to add that Cloudmining is not all about the face of ponzi scheme, hyip and scam but you must accept the fact that getting ROI here is really out of sight and really not worth it for period of time that you will wait providing you will only spend an amount that is not considered as reasonable amount to be invested in this kind of system.

There are really legit cloudmining site but it's up to you if you still want to continue after reading our suggestions.

As of now never heard that there are cloud mining site are legit because most of the cloud mining site are not profitable and mostly they are scam in the end.. if you are seen that in some forum or blog better to stay away even trusted people here they are not giving you a guaranteed cloud mining site.. since we are in bitcoin and there is no reverse payment once the cloud mining site turn into scam you can reverse your payment but in bitcoin you don't have a chance to reverse the payment if you sent you will never get it back..
So i advice you to get away to them if you love your money and don't want to waste your time try other investment or better to learn trading much better..

I would say: It's almost impossible to get ROI from genesis mining so don't worths to try, it will be loss of money.
If you want to test cloud mining websites, there are also hashing 24 and minergate but AFAIK you can't sell hashrate here (better to forget them).
Now better choise to avoid losing of money is hashnest. Good website to test cloud mining because you can sell hashrates and get your money back.
But avoid investing in cloud mining, you won't see any good profit, only wasting of time.

honestly I would recommend you to stay away from all cloud minings , even genesis mining I heard that they haven't paid their customers since some days
they said that they will pay all the money in one day in the future , but no one knows if this is true or they are just trying to gain some time
even in their best days genesis mining isn't profitable at all , most likely you will never ROI unless you are a good affiliate then you can make a fortune by fooling other people which isn't an honest way to earn money

try any other investment , like investing in gambling sites or lending in poloniex or other sites
there is risk involved but it's way better than investing in genesis or any other mining site

The seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years you will spend here is not worth the reward you will get. It's like investing in an actual mining rig but you are renting some hashes depends on your capital.

Just think about how expensive it was to build a mining rig to get decent profit and divide it to the percentage you will spend as a capital. Even you invest BTC1, you won't see any good returns.

No genesis mining is not profitable at any cost. Neither other cloud mining sites so it's not worth investing. You are saying that you are done with buy at low and sell at high but to be honest that is the best way to earn bitcoin in the crypto world.


If you really want to go for mining that hard then just do the hardware mining. But investment cost is very high and you profit there only if you have more workers (miners) in place.

Cloud mining is just another form of hyip where old investors will be paid with money from new investors and most of those services don't have any mining hardware or enough hash power which they claim they have.

Cloud mining sites can't run for long time and you will never get your initial investment back so I suggest you not to fall in their claims of higher profit. Don't invest in any cloud mining scams.

cloud mining is like putting your money way up in the cloud and let it fly so far, far away and stay out of your sight- hahaha (big grin). there's a big risk in investing cloud mining they are not making profit anymore they offer you some too good to be true earnings not knowing that it can't be materialized anymore . even the largest mining pool doesn't offer cloud mining services unless you buy some of their equipment for mining rig which cost much higher than investing some suspicious cloud mining services. in other words cloud mining is like an HYIP investing it may sounds good at the start but cost a lot of trouble afterwards. as you said you had tried some other bitcoin trading why not try your luck in cloud mining , invest at your own risk. genesis, nicehash , hashflare are worth to try.
