Why do we need to verify ETH addresses when we have input it right when we register as participants?

This is making it very difficult for me. Its not about VPN. It says:

Bad gateway

Is there anything else I can do to verify? From which country can you recommend?

click on "Add Custom Token" button.
Fill in all the fields:
Put 0xd4c435f5b09f855c3317c8524cb1f586e42795fa
in the "Address", "CND" in the "Token Symbol" and "18"
in the decimals field. Then click on "Save" button.

Actually if you will add wrong address - you will not see your CND balance.
