Of course, I bought them all for BTC myself, assuming they would be worth more. This is a process I've repeated several times, and I take my profits in a mix of XRP and BTC, circa 85% XRP, and 15% BTC. So far it's proved a nice mix, as XRP rises in value faster. In times like this where the price has swung against me, I just hold, or use some BTC to buy some more. If I sold right now on the market I'd make a loss, but I can hold and wait it out.
Typical trading, I used to hold smaller stock and turn over quickly, but as my personal trust in ripple has gone up, even though there have been hiccups along the way, I've started to have the confidence to hold more stock for longer.
