Relax, this is free altcoin money! Tongue

Only a small number of folks can take advantage of the current price inefficiency. There isn't nearly enough liquidity to allow all Bitcoin holders to sell their BCH.

There's been 40 or so blocks mined. ViaBTC is showing 77P hash rate. Just enjoy the ride...

You can follow the blocks here: https://cash.coin.dance/blocks its still pretty slow because the difficulty hasn't had a chance to properly adjust yet and who knows what miners are jumping on and off it etc.

One hour for BTC is great for me, I'm normally happy to wait but this is a different matter isn't it? Anyway, as mentioned, let's give it a chance to adjust difficulty. It's really early days yet. Can't wait for exchange wallets to be ready for deposits. Yawning hole there.

You should give us transaction ID so we can see for ourselves. The average is one block per hour, which means you should have a confirmation, unless your fee was too low and you didn't fit in the first block. In such case you'll have to wait another hour or so. What fee did you pay?

I send 2 times, so it's now 2 & 11 confrimations. I turned around once.

If I show you my transaction ID, can you help me to speed up transaction?

Do you think it is just because the coin is new? Or maybe it somehow didn't solve the transaction problem? I know the block was increased but perhaps there are some other factors we should consider.
And hey, one hour WAS great with bitcoin but I've heard that now transactions take about 10-30 minutes. I haven't checked it myself, for since segwit I had only one transaction with bitcoin. I was watching the film at that time and had about an hour left. The transaction was confirmed when I watched it till the end.

I am actually expecting an update from OP on the status of the transaction because even normally I wouldn't expect everything to be perfect at first but few days down the line,  everything should begin to normalise. And also, for the tact that its free money does not mean it should go away after all we never asked for it. The miners in their own wisdom thinks its the best they give out the freebies o everyone.

you are confusing multiple different and unrelated stuff together!

confirmation times with bitcoin had little to do with block generation, blocks were still being mined at the same interval of 10 minute on average. but because of the spam attack you had to pay a higher fee to be able to get a place in the next block. obviously when you paid smaller fee you were having a very low priority and got a very late confirmation.

what is happening with bitcoin cash is very different. the problem is with finding blocks. nobody is finding any in long intervals. there has been 1 hour blocks, there has been 13 hours too. and when nobody finds any block your transactions won't confirm!
and the reason is because of the high difficulty and low hashrate (few miners are mining it). of course the difficulty was programmatically changed to fix it but it is not yet enough.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

I think I have read somewhere in this forum that a good date to transact bcc is probably after august 10. Then probably that miners now sync program to mine btc? So try prolonging the patience cause even big traders are still waiting for a good timing to dump there btc and i can see that there  is a high chance will be the next mined altcoin after btc because it has a good feature unlike other altcoins.

Thread from the mining section noticed a drop off in hashpower, speculated that miners were moving to BCC to try take advantage of the price. Doesn't seem to have resulted in BCC finding blocks faster though.

Wowww need between 6-24 hours waiting for Bitcoin Cash transaction confirmation? Must be patient to wait, maybe this is because of the many transactions, many traders speculate with Bitcoin Cash

It might take too long, I don't know how many  confirmations do they need since they are still working on to some adjustments. So, just hold on there and maybe if they would be able to work things out, which I hope will happen in the future, transaction with BCC will be faster. Let's just wait and see.

it's not yet possible to move BCH from exchange to exchange ? what's your estimation when this works decently

when possible i guess it evens up the gap, now BCH $300 to $450

 Huh
