It seems that I know most of Altcoin's using Myetherwallet, because of all the initial ICO projects it makes Altcoin use Myetherwallet wallet, because they make token. So if you want to use wallet for Altcoin you should use Myetherwallet for your Altcoin wallet.

I recommend to use https://myetherwallet.com/ because it is simple, easy to be used, no need to download the blockchain
you are full control of the private key and myetherwallet can be used for buy the ICOs projects, also you can used jaxx.io to store ethereum but jaxx doesn't support for purchase the ICOs at least for now.

There are open scam accusations against the wallet for stealing coins in the past and it's not recommended to use the wallet.They say the private keys are generated at the client side but who knows what it really is until the code is open-sourced.

What you're looking for doesn't really exist, what you want is a wallet is going to handle all of these different all coins and they don't have it yet. Basically the best you can do is write your own little program that accesses the CLI for each of the wallet you have downloaded.

For now, I am using myetherwallet. It is an online ethereum wallet. It also holds tokens or other altcoins. You just need to secure yourself because it is an open-source generating Ethereum wallet. It is prone to hackers so you need to be aware but it is free so I think it is okay. If you want this wallet, make sure that you saved your key and you are logging to a site with LLC. Your security is in your hands if you want to use this. Just always remember to login with myetherwallet with LLC near to the URL.

if you want to store ethereum or litecoins you can go for coinbase , it is a very user friendly wallet , with private keys and transfer pins that makes it more safe , it has a dashboad where it shows the graph of the altcoins and prices so that we can see and compare the growth between them .

Sometimes you may need to add custom tokens. And don't forget your Private Key! Otherwise you will lose everything

You can use Ethereum Wallet or MyEtherWallet.
I can't promise they're the best, but they are both good imo

You can also use Jaxx if you're planning to hold only the biggest altcoins (you can't add custom tokens)

Yes, I was previously used Jaxx, but sadly that it does not support custom tokens, so I have to seek for another method. I tried to use ethereum wallet and spend hours to download the blockchain, but it always stucked, so finally I use myetherwallet.com, this is good that we can save the json key into our disk, and it can be imported to other wallet (I'm not sure which wallet support this yet, but at least it can be done, or anyone can update me about this?).

Well the altcoin wallet that i am using are myether wallet and waves wallet those two are the best altcoin wallet, this wallets can really be trusted and it is very convenient to use or i can say it is not that complicated.  So if i were i would uae this wallets for my wallets.

For altcoins, myetherwallet still the best for stored all your altcoins and ethereum too of course but there is other wallet for stored your ethereum, you can use web wallet blockchain.info right now because blockchain is not only for bitcoin but also for ethereum wallet too in the latest update.
