Ghost children are children with no birth certificate, simply because their country's services don't know they do exist. Usually, because parents live in a village or it isn't in their culture to report a birth, parents don't know to read & write, etc
They are over 200 million worldwide. YES 200 mln.
Without identity children are deprived of their "fundamental rights": I can quote several, for example, health, justice, education. Of course, they can't take an exam later. they are in a precarious situation and can be easily abused too.
So I was just wondering if the blockchain technology could help somehow, the biggest difficulty could be that the families has NO internet connection. And if they do have they can fill a name/last name in the service database...
