 i dont know the exact answer to how to make friends .. but for me making of friends is a natural talent of the people .. simply be kind to others .. be humble and make them all happy

To make friends is just be true to yourself and be friendly ofcourse. Interact with other people by then you can start having a friend. Communication is needed to start making new friends this way its easier to have friends.

Honesty is the best policy.  When you run out of things to say ask questions.  Get to know people.  People will also start to feel endeared to you if you appear interested in them, get them to talk about themselves and eventually you will find something in common with them.  Then you can talk in length about whatever that subject is as you develop a bond.  It will ebb and flow as they begin to ask more questions about you and you about them.  And before you know it, you got a buddy.

Get a hobby and join a social group that shares that hobby or sport. Golf, Skying, Tennis, Hiking,... There are many groups and things to meet people. I like sports and then at the clubhouse you meet many other sportsmen with similar interests and go for drinks after.

If you are honest and have good nature then you will never find it difficult in making new friends in fact people would love to be your friends looking at your behavior but if you are arrogant then I don't think you will be able to make many friends.

For me finding friends is not easy its risky because your not sure on that person even hes good or not.
Finding friends is by putting a trust into someone. Because trust is something that is hard to give to any one.
And a real friend needs to take care of this trust for you both to build strong friendship
