i want to ask for suggestions.
i found my old turned off Jalapeno
can i mine some kind of currency with it?
BTC is not effective enought

All ASIC-based BTC miners can only do sha256 coins. Think there are a couple non-BTC ones that might have a lower diff but I don't mine them because they are alt coins...
As phillipa said, point it at a solo mining pool and hope to hit the lottery with it. Um, Sidehacks sticks pull a lot less power and still would give ya >15GHs....

You can try to sell it (You can get around $60 for one if you include the PSU) or mine PPC/some other SHA256 currency solo or just keep it in a closet. I did that with mine and hopefully in the far future when home mining is no more I can just pull that out of my closet and remember the old days Smiley

1st, modify it into a 8gh/s jally if you havent already.

then use as paperweight.

other than that point it at a solo pool.
