Catalyst is a platform for crypto-focused traders, data curators, and investors.
It is a platform that empowers anyone to build their own crypto hedge fund and participate in the coming Renaissance of the financial ecosystem. Key to this is our data marketplace, where data curators can create license datasets for use by strategy creators. Our vision is to enable developers to build winning investment strategies, maintain a strong track record and attract investment from community investors. Catalyst is a playground where developers, quants, and experienced traders can easily build, simulate, and eventually live trade cryptocurrencies using sophisticated programmatic strategies. Regular investors can then invest directly in winning strategies through our system. With this, we’re hoping to make smart-investing in this new emerging asset class accessible to everyone. Our long-term goal is to build on this and create a safe and open large-scale data marketplace. With the introduction of the Enigma whitepaper back in 2015 (at the time, a research project at MIT), we’ve set a single goal to break down data silos and enable data sharing. We believe that to achieve this goal, a single, open-source protocol for a decentralized data marketplace needs to exist, where data can be openly exchanged in return for incentives.
We are not alone in this belief – within a couple of months our whitepaper has been downloaded more than 100,000 times, earning it press coverage in esteemed news outlets like WIRED, FastCompany, Coindesk and IBTimes. Bounty Program Explanation
Enigma is creating a fixed supply of one hundred million (100M) ECAT tokens. We are making 50% of these tokens available in our upcoming token sale (50M tokens).
We are being deliberately aggressive and making the size of each bounty pool a significant amount, given our target token sale cap of $30M. These pools will be awarded to the community based on achieving particular goals and may be increased if certain milestones are hit. We have been committed to building a strong and active community from day 1, and your help is critical in achieving this. We want to reward you commensurately.
We reserve the right to disqualify or withhold bounty payouts to any member we suspect of attempting to cheat or exploit any of the rules as written below. We also have zero tolerance for spam, cheating, or abuse.
Social Networks Pool - 3 BTC and 60,000 ECATThis pool will be awarded on a pro rata basis across all members who achieve the goals described. That means if only one member successfully completes the goals within this bounty pool, they will receive the entire bounty pool. If one hundred members complete the goals, they will split the pool depending on the number of points they have accrued.
This campaign will run for 3 weeks, starting Tuesday, August 1. For each week the campaign is active, we are awarding 1/3 of the total ECAT pool.
IMPORTANT: If we reach the following social goals, we will increase our bounty pool by 50% to 90,000 ECAT! Please help us get this additional reach and you will all reap the rewards. If we can hit these goals mid-campaign, we may have time to increase our bounty pool again!

How to join the Enigmarines
To join the Enigmarines and receive a 100 point bonus, you must join our Slack and contact our community manager directly (his username is @tor). The Enigmarines are invite-only - he will provide instructions on how to join. The Enigmarines help promote Enigma Catalyst on other forums, Facebook groups, Telegram groups, and other sources. You must remain active as an Enigmarine throughout the social bounty campaign. If you do this successfully, you will receive the 100 point bonus. We look forward to your participation!
