If you're just Cpu mining it is probably best to research a new CPU only coin and hold it hoping for a price increase.  Verium was a good coin for this when it first came out and delivered solid returns for CPU mining.  The difficulty on that has gone way up now, but there is probably a new coin similar that is good to CPU mine and early enough on that you can mine it early as opposed to late.  I wouldn't mind getting CPU mining going again either... Verium made solid returns for me from a laptop.

Should not rape a laptop ) cooling system of any laptop has not enough capability to work 24/7 for efficient mining. But any POS coin will be good choice

Just started Cpu mining via the https://minergate.com platform

so far monero seems to be the most profitable altcoin i have from whats available to mine and i plan to use my old phones to mine hope it yields results.

Mine BCN or download XRY wallet mine from that my suggestion. Don't run all cores unless you want to risk you laptop.  Try burst if you have hd space alt to that is storj.
