I've been following BitCoin on this forum for a little while now, but I haven't come across anything mentioning a job board. The easiest way to earn bitcoins is to do work in exchange for them. How does one post what job they are willing to do for bitcoins? How does one find someone to hire for work? It seems like a job board would facilitate trade and provide new users an easier way to acquire bitcoins rather than mining. Thoughts?
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Not my original work:

My friend's got a girlfriend
Man he hates that bitch
He tells me every day
He says "man I really gotta lose my chick
In the worst kind of way"

She sits on her ass
He works his hands to the bone
To give her money every payday
But she wants more dinero just to stay at home
Well my friend
You gotta say:

"I won't pay, I won't pay ya, no way
Na-na Why don't you get a job"
Say "no way", say "no way ya, no way
Na-na Why don't you get a job"

I guess all his money, well it isn't enough
To keep her bill collectors at bay
I guess all his money, well it isn't enough
Cause that girl's got expensive taste

"I won't pay, I won't pay ya, no way
Na-na Why don't you get a job"
Say "no way", say "no way ya, no way
Na-na Why don't you get a job"

Well I guess it ain't easy doing nothing at all oh yeah
But hey man free rides just don't come along
every day

My friend's got a boyfriend man and she hates that dick (and the guy!)
She tells me every day (woo! everyday now)
He wants more dinero just to stay at home (stay at home!)
Well my friend
You gotta say: (gotta say!)

"I won't pay, I won't pay ya (woo), no way (no way!)
Na-na Why don't you get a job" (woo - get a job!)
Say "no way", say "no way ya, no way
Na-na Why don't you get a job"
(oh yeah!)
"I won't give ya no money
I always pay
Na-na Why don't you get a job" (get a job!)
Say "no way", say "no way ya, no way
Na-na Why don't you get a job!"

I agree.

In the future, I think it would be advantageous to allow people to create accounts on that site. It would allow for more anonymity if a user desires it. Also, with user accounts present, a rating system could be added so people can know who the reputable users are, like eBay's user rating system.

For an anonymous user are you referring to the applicant/freelancer, or employer?

The form for Submitting A Job (link below) allows you to be as anonymous as you wish.  Any new posts do require the admin to approve -- but that is only to prevent bot / spam posts.
  http://www.bitcoinjobs.com/jobs/add/

As far as a rating system, that site uses a hosted job board service, which means I cannot add features.  I'll check to see if they have any plans to add anything like that.

The only immediate solution I can suggest is the technique I used on my listings on BiddingPond.  I had no feedback / rating there yet, so what I had done was in the listing gave the link that went to my feedback page on eBay.   Can do the same for linking to your feedback / rating on oDesk, elance or whichever reputation source you choose.

Tell us about your great money making scheme.

- Building an Android application for bitcoins doesn't count.
- Breaking the law also doesn't count.

Having people working for you, for instance.

Or building your own business.  It is work too, but by work I meant the kind of work you were talking about : the waged work.

Any interesting business these days requires 10+ man years to get of the ground and even then there is a very high chance that some large company will simply decide to destroy you.

If you have a good business idea that only requires expert computer science skills, talk.

Nobody really using bitcoin jobs, instead opting for marketplace. I guess that's because the forum have lot of traffics while bitcoinjobs have next to no traffic.
