I think the name change is needed good coin clean start but not really fair since it did not have endorsement from Bushstar so really shouldn't have used "Feathercoin" name.
The "2" was just to match so it would still be "FC2"

Yes Hazard started it as a joke but, as a result, there were no premining shenanigans and the reward was spread across many miners.
Hence, there is a groundswell of interest in promoting this as perhaps the first truly honest coin

Logo =/= added value to infrastructure. Pretty pictures aren't going to make a coin successfully adopted.
