Hopefully this is the right place to post this, as I'm figuring it's more of a support type issue for bitcoin rather than a Mt Gox or CampBX issue.

See this transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/861587d83bd8b3aee0476ce93d8a0e07bbe7455b54f2fbcaf6e52dae26d3cd82

As you can see it's been well over a day and no confirmations yet.  I chose not to include a fee and new it would take a while, but didn't figure on this long.

I'm trying to get it to CampBX from Mt Gox.  Had a little BTC there (the 0.08156454 BTC part) that I decided to move off Gox since it's not looking good for them with recent news items (the Dwolla seizure and the Coinlab lawsuit).

What's not making sense is there was a later one done today from 50BTC.com that also did not have any fees, but got first confirmed in about 4 hours and now has over 30 confirmations.

Could the miners be filtering out MtGox addresses or something?  I'm going to wait if I have to, but if there is any way to cancel that transaction from Mt Gox so I can re-send it with a fee, I'd like to.

If you don't include a fee, it can take well over a day sometimes, sometimes much less. Luck of the draw.

btw if you are worried about the stability of mtgox, why not move to a wallet instead another online exchange? There is no reason to trust any one of them more than another.

Out of the frying pan into the fire ..............

I've got bitcoin-qt set up on a virtual machine in my server (the server is a CentOS 6.4 install, some of the installed stuff is too old for some bots I want to try, hence the VM), so that's not an issue.  Thing is if you want to try your hand at trading, like I do, you can't let them sit anywhere but at an exchange as I see it.

If I had more BTC, I'd have some in my local bitcoin-qt as a "savings account" of sorts.  I also have bitcoin-spinner set up on my android phone with it's own address, which I'll likely use as a "checking account" for BTC I need easier access to.

But, it still puts me back to my original issue, can it be canceled somehow?  I'm thinking not, so I'll likely have to just wait it out.
