Just a note to new people out there looking to get into crypto, I do sell FTC on ebay, although at a higher rate due to my increased risk.  Currently I have 100% satifaction rate and gleaming comments.  I am not discouraging the use of exchanges (cheaper) just giving some a different set of options.  Other than the need to sleep, most transfers are within the hour after purchase.

Thanks

Can you explain a bit what this "higher risk" is? Perhaps provide a link to one of your items on e-bay? Just curious :-)

I wonder who's buying the FTC, and what they are doing with them.

I've sold about 14000 FTC through ebay.

Has this proved to be a better strategy than using exchanges to trade for btc and then to usd?

It's certainly easier but is it also less profitable?

I have had no chargebacks.   Chargebacks are the risks.  I have felt that due to ebay and PayPal pass needed for transaction it has a slightly lower chance of fraud.  So far so good.  Been almost a month with no issues

Hi level of scammers on ebay when it comes to bitcoin (digital form). Soime accounts can get hacked and all people have to do is provide anonymous address to pay to. Once done hacker has account robbed in a way that he/she can't really be tracked.

I got screwed over selling bitcoin myself so understand why seller has to charge a bit extra.
