All currencies working with the CryptoNight algorithm are asic resistant and therefore only minable with cpu/gpu and there are several real profitable ones if one sells directly after mining. I would suggest to take a look at 2 coins which are currently not listed yet at an exchange but give a high amount of currency units while mining and are planning to be listed soon. Those are:

Niobio(NBR): https://niobiocash.com/

eDollar(EDC): https://edollar.cash/

If you have to sell directly to cover costs I would suggest to take a look at the following:

UltraNote(XUN): https://ultranote.org/

IntenseCoin(ITNS): https://intensecoin.com/

Sincerely
Brandy Thern

Thanks for the information
How about win 7 32-bit cpu mining.?
What miner use to do cpu pool mining,?

I would also suggest anything CryptoNight, though it is also mineable with GPU you can still make a profit with the right CPU.

If you want coins that are solely mineable with CPU I suggest you look into HODLcoin, ROIcoin, VeriumReserve(VRM), Magi(xmg), Zoin(ZOI) and propably there are many more out there.

The only problem with CPU-only algo's is that almost all of them are under heavy attack from botnets and people with a lot of CPU's. Like maybe server and system administrators.

Your best bet is to look around for newly started coins to get the "first mover's" advantage, and then hopefully they will prosper.

At least that is what I am trying to do. And then collect a little bit of everything and HODL!

For 32-BIT Windows I do not have a clue, probably one can only mine via the 32-BIT wallets but if that is profitable I do not know...

On 64-BIT Windows I´m using xmr-stak, which you can find here:

https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases

Enjoy
Brandy Thern

I'm using win 32-bit also,  already installed edollar but don't know how to connect to pool mining because
Can't find cpuminer for cryptonight
Intensecoin only got 64-bit wallet, quite sad for me
I'm searching for asic resistant crypto suitable for cpu pool mining, since scrypt type pow only for powerful cpu and gpu miner

Regarding wallet mining I don't recommend, wasting time if you computer not powerful enough

Cryptonight coins are mineable by CPU. Choose one that you think it'll get price increase on the future to collect some profit. But if you get free electricity, chosse anyone because you're profiting anyway. I like to use my old PC to mine with CPU because I have free electricity and I'll hold the coins to get better profit.

Hi, I am just in for fun and want to know, now that all my AMD and NVIDIA Cards mine when idle, what I could mine with the 5 ryzen CPU's I have here?

Do you have any ideas for a newbie?
monero, bytecoin and aeon are the best cpu minable coins.now before using your computer for mining, according  to experts your returns might not be great. mining most of these coins on a mid-level cpu might just about cover your electricity cost.but I feel good for these three coins.now take a look why,
miners have reported that Bytecoin is best to hold and ride the market.
With respect to profitability, aeon just about covers the cost of running an average computer at full power.
monero is one of the most popular cpu minable cryptocurrencies.but you will need more than one cpu to get profit from mining monero.

I just up until recently mined Electroneum, but i have to be honest and say that its not profitable right of the bat. Normally CPU mining isnt. You have to bet that the price of the coin you mine will increase alot in value. Thats why i chose Electroneum, and that it has low difficulty.

Here is a new coin: Arionum (ARO).

This is the "CPU-ONLY" coin. It is a new coin, so you can mine some and keep them.

It's a novel coin based on PHP.

When you are searching for a good CPU Coin then i would take Arionum ARO.

https://www.arionum.com/

I mine with my i5 6600 and a old i7 @920 fine on this coin.

It has for Windows and Linux a good and easy to setup Java based Miner, the wiki of ARO is great.

I am fine with this coin.

As I recently read there are Verium coin and HODL that can be mined only with CPU. But they are not included in listings in big exchanges.

I mine Binarium.  Its not a pump and dump coin.

Excellent project with integrating games with mining and buying in game items with Binarium.

And only CPU, no GPU at all.
