The 2011 V2 is actually more rare then the error, is my understanding. Increasing the "rarity" factor is the grading mistake. Kind of unique and rare situation. Something went wrong with the first coin, and something went wrong with the second coin...not like theres a whole mess of factors that could go wrong....just production and grading. We have a situation of both here.
No offense Owl, you know I like the snott outta ya, but he asked our opinions....not what Ebay members are gonna think. But, in fairness...I can see your point too.
So it seems we are debating the "classification" of what constitutes an "error". Can a slab still be considered as part of an 'error", yes or no? I think so.
Thanks and yeah all good points indeed -
Another point of view could be last year's "2016 Sol Noctis" that graded MS69, and wasn't even
real, or
silver.
Still, it sold on here I'm quite sure...
I like you too Fattcatt, thanks, but I'm more OCD than you I suppose!
If it had been mine and more rare like you say, I probably would have had anacs fix it, even if I had messed up the submission form that may have helped cause the grading error, no matter how long it had been, but perhaps the owner bought it and noticed it later, who knows. Fun stuff these coins!
Cheers.
