How do you think, what value will reach bitcoin after 9/10 August?
Remember it is very important date because BIP141 will get activated then!

I have feelings we will go over 3500 and even can touch 4k$. In weeks/months we can go to 5k$.

I feel the same too, most of the investors of bitcoin in the past we're all thinking that bitcoin might not develop in the future. Now that the development is seen , I think they can be sure that this digital coin has it's place in the future and it is getting ready for it and it's users in the future.

A price increase is something promising, but to what extent this goes I'm not sure about the same. The value keeps on growing after the bitcoin cash started to fall. The ongoing price increase will continue and once after certain time period the price reaches $4000 - $5000 based on the event taking place by the upcoming 9/10 August.

it is possible that BIP141 lock in has already been priced in. maybe not 100% but it is to some extent. which is why i wouldn't be surprised if the price doesn't that much higher after the activation.
we already know that BIP141 has 100% support. there is no doubt anymore and there is no FUD causing any panics.

in a week after it there is a better chance for a big price rise in my opinion. so maybe $3500 by then.

Considering a lot of mining power is likely to move to the BCC chain for selfish reasons i don't think there is any room to go up for at least a week.
If Bitcoin survives the difficulty adjustment of BCC the road could be clear till November when we will probably have another hard fork.

It seems that we are optimistic in this type of scenario. I, too, feel the same but "after 9/10 August" is vague. I am pretty confident that we will come to that price sooner or later. Let us just hope that the activation gets smooth as possible and there will be no more drama that will happen so that no more panic selling will occur.

Why another hardfork?

I think we may get to $3500 after the activities and before end of month that is August we may get to $4,000. I like this game playing out now especially after this split. Many people especially prophet of dum said bitcoin will fell back to $1000 or bellow but we are happy that the loin put them to shame by roar upward after August first splitting.

I share your sentiment, but expect Bitcoin to go sideways for longer than a week. Maybe 3-6 weeks of cooldown, before the next step up (followed the inevitable drama that is going to be segwitx2).

Will be interesting to see how much mining power moves to BCH once its difficulty has adjusted. Especially since the more miners rush to BCH, the faster the low difficulty phase will be done with, the slower BCH will become again once miners switch back to BTC due to loss of difficulty advantage.

Why another hardfork?

Look into Segwit2x - roughly three months after activation a 2MB hard fork that is part of this proposal, is supposed to kick in. In other words, we once again will be in for some uncertainties in the runup to this hard fork. People think things are over now, but this is just part two. How things are right now, looking at the widely different opinions and mentality, we may very well end up experiencing (yep yep) a chain split. If you're in love with volatility, things will (once again) get very interesting for you. Other than that, I am actually suprised to see how mild kwukduck is right now - keep it up! There is no need to constantly make yourself look like a fool.

Everyone is having the same feeling that we are about to see the price of bitcoin at $4,000 very soon. As everyone tells here that we need to look on other side of making the price stable, bitcoin should pass first with a dump.

When segwit will be activated successfully, price might pump even harder. On November bitcoin might fork/split again and I am expecting huge correction on price that time.

However we might see small correction on price when it will be over $3500 within next few days.

The price is already pumping in anticipation of that event. I am predicting it will go sideways on that day because the market is already exhausted. But once we feel the effect of segwit, there will be more pump. 4000 will be easily reach.

There seems to be a lot of resistance at $3,200 levels. But let's see what happens once BIP 141 gets locked in. My guess is that Bitcoin can reach $4,000 per coin by August 15. However, a major correction can occur after that.

Bitcoin seems sure to cross $3500 within next week.There is no doubt about it.Aftr august 8,when the segwit will be locked in,price would start to rise more since there would be an increase in demand for bitcoins at that time.Now,the expectation is that when bitcoin price would cross $4000.It might reach that price after august 15 when BCC would have gone much low by that time.

I guess bitcoin already started moving on the expectation of new environment where there will be no more scalablity issues persist.

I guess prices may test $3500/$3800 on the speculation of segwit activation on August 8. Already lot of people are moving their investments back to bitcoins from eth and other altcoins hence we can be sure we are going to see fireworks in coming days. My target will be $5000 by end of this month.

Bitcoin price is very much volatile and therefore it is very much unpredictable but I think it will increase, it may not increase on a daily base but I think an increase will be noticed around 9/10 August. The next target for bitcoin is supposed $5000. So most of the people including me are waiting for this target of bitcoin to achieve. I hope bitcoin will reach to this target soon.

well me I'm positive that the value will increase and as most of us like to see this important date will really gather more interested investors to join
btc investment which would be good, we should continue to think positive and see the best results, till then..
