[SCAM][SPAM] User "bitcoinicon" selling corrupted Bitcoin wallet

What happened: User bitcoinicon is spaming and selling a Bitcoin wallet with 468 BTC which is corrupted and cannot be cracked or be saved.He doesn't say it's corrupted in any way..He is using his website email ricky@bitcoinicon.com to conduct this scam and is offering the wallet file for 0.1 BTC.His email is spammed all over the internet, do a quick search and you will see.

His website and email is linked to his bitcoinicon forum profile here on bitcointalk.I don't approve his actions and he deserves a negative trust!

Saw the post earlier,didn't bother paying attention since I knew people would fall for it.Glad you opened a scam accusation.He could make up whatever bullshit he can to make it look all legit but the general get rich quick scam is all I sense. I've left them a negative feedback and I hope some DT does that too.

Guys honestly this is not a corrupted wallet it is live on my laptop I assure you that if is is corrupted I have no idea. You could have contacted me to ask me before labeling my profile like this. I'm sorry If you think I tried to scam you but I did not and can assure you this wallet runs.

My video makes it clear that cracking the wallet is a gamble....

Here’s the way the Bitcoin software works.
 
In order to determine how much bitcoin you have, it scans the entire blockchain for all of your addresses to find all of your transactions, both send and receive. If it had to scan the entire blockchain every time you started the software, this would take too long. Instead, it saves transactions that it finds in your wallet.dat file, and each time you start the software, it starts scanning from where it last finished.
 
The wallet.dat file you sent me has been modified. Somebody removed a bunch of transactions (including a lot of transactions which emptied the wallet), specifically they removed all of the transactions between Feb-16-2014 and Apr-27-2014. They left in a few transactions after Apr-27-2014 (and some other data) in the wallet.dat which “fooled” the Bitcoin software into thinking that it didn’t need to rescan the entire blockchain, and so it never tried to find those missing transactions.
 
You can force the Bitcoin software to rescan the entire blockchain for all of your transactions by running this on Windows (first exit Bitcoin):
 
                C:\Program Files\Bitcoin\ bitcoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes=1 -rescan
 
It will take about an hour before the Bitcoin window appears.
 
I included 4 screenshots, 2 before running the rescan (named “fake”), and 2 after running the rescan (named “real”). If you look at the transaction (“tx”) screenshots, you’ll see that the highlighted transaction is present in both “real” and “fake”, but above that a bunch of transactions are missing from “fake”.
 
Here’s the first transaction missing from the “fake” screenshot (blockchain.info link) https://blockchain.info/tx/2649634a0cf6cd32d236c2e743024eb52647b153916a0fa628395a8a9f43c085 . It’s a send transaction, and the two from addresses, 1HeysdyVWNcaV9oPhgaHFSfHT5yiKgah7a and 176jVRkAfDAaevQJXScjQ8rXSi6n6UvY5w, can be found in the wallet.dat (File menu -> receiving address…). However the transaction linked above can’t be found in the wallet.dat until after you do the rescan.
 
The very unfortunate bottom line is that this wallet has practically nothing in it, just two satoshi.
 
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s not much anyone can do about it…

At the end of the day the wallet is not corrupted and when I load the wallet I see the 468BTC balance. So you guys could have contacted me fist like any decent human being would do before splashing all over my feedback like mindless snakes.

I'm quite angry and to be honest I'm more than happy to have a video call with each if you and come down to see you in person because all have tarnished my name and I am in crypto full time so this for me is a very serious issue.

If you read the above reply in those red lines you should be convinced that the wallet showing 468 bitcoins is fake and this conclusion is coming from a BTC recovery expert with sufficient details.Knowing you have been a target of scam itself and you are promoting it,justifies the negative feedback.
If I was you,I'd return those 0.10 BTC to the buyers and ask DT members if they can fix the trust ratings.As of now,yes you could be a victim to a 468 BTC scam and you have actively promoted it.

All I can say is this, I am willing to come and meet you guys and show you that I am not a scammer. In all honesty is this is a fake wallet then I am the one that got duped in the first place because I had no idea one could even fake a wallet and put BTC in it that does not exist, that is new to me.

Another thing like i said I am full time im crypto and you guys chose to not contact me to ask my story before publicly tarnishing my name. I am more than happy to take the video down if it really is a fake wallet, I must admit I am still in shock that its possible to have a wallet that has BTC in it but its not really got BTC in it... to me this is still fishy.

This is obviously from google bots that is used to rank info, please you call yourself a tech savvy person... I made one video and that it. The video might have been published to social media during upload but that;s it. I did not do any other marketing and only sold it to 4 people , honestly.
