XRP is a semi centralized coin and there will be 100Billion XRP. Waves only will be 100 Million.

XRP is a semi centralized coin and there will be 100Billion XRP. Waves only will be 100 Million.

Quantity of a coin is irrelevant. The price will simply be higher or lower correspondingly. In either case, Waves are far more user friendly than ETH with similar applications... Going to be hard to drive ETH out since it came first and has a lot of attention around it, but in its current state it's not impossible for it to be overtaken eventually.

I've got 500 or so waves, i just lease them out and check on them every now and again, if the platform gets its upgrade and really takes off, the increased volume will mean a 1% monthly return.

Lets just humour the post, and say it does hit $400 a coin, that would give me $2000 a month coming in to invest in other crypto, without having to touch my initial 500.

Ill take that risk, even if it hits 100 a coin in the next 2 years, that gives 24 months for leases to be paid and new coins to pay out to waves holders, so the inital 500 may well be closer to 600.

I don't have that much extra money to get more waves so im wondering if i should do that.  Im guessing doing it with litecoin is good idea since the price of litecoin basically doesn't go up or down much at all?  And bitcoin will only go up etc?  Thanks.

Waves is definitely a great coin but I have a hard time seeing that it will increase 50x-100x within just a year. Maybe 10x or 20x. But I think it'll take longer than just a year to achieve anything more then that. But then again, anything is possible in the world of cyrpto.

How long have you leased your 500 waves?  How much waves are you getting back per month leasing them?

I've been following Waves since I started trading cryptocurrency and as what I can see this coin has a very big potential to grow. The platform is amazing and the dev is also brilliant actually I bought some waves weeks ago because I know the price of this coin will be more higher in the next few years.

Waves has a very good potential and i invested it as well. Even half of my investment is waves. But one thing makes me scared that so many people think the same way. So that many people can not win at the same time i guess

I've been looking at Waves lately and I've noticed that it's a very high potential.

The reasons are:
1) Market Volume is still very low.
2) Not much increased compared to the first exit point. It only reached 3.5 times the ICO value. (1.33 to 4.55)
3) Total nominal 100 million. Not at a billion level. Even when it reaches 100 times the value of today's value, it will have a market volume of 45.5 billion dollars. This value is below Bitcoin's current market share. (As of the moment Bitcoin market volume: $ 53.8 billion)
4) It was one of the most active altcoins after August 1st.
5) Waves has its own technology like Ethereum. And there ise partnership with Ethereum

Because of these reasons, I evaluated most of my portfolio by taking Waves. Like Ethereum, which is 50 times bigger from the beginning of the year until June, I am confident that it will be 50-100 times shortly.

x50 to x100 is a very so high prediction for your Waves. You are referring to a short term prediction that is why I think that is too high. It will get there but not short term most probably. It will take time.

Your reasons on the list though are very great.

It's a coin you should have in your portfolio, not sure about the 50-100 prediction - but it is certainly possible in the longer term

Yes, maybe someday waves will become like ETH. But I think it's quite difficult. There are some bugs in applications waves.

I am seeing a lot of post for waves lately. If anything, this hype post will push the price to that level, not the reasons stated by op. Like any other coins in the market, if it gets hyped enough, it can easily reach x100 specially if it still is low priced.

It takes a lot more than a few posts on this forum to make a coin moon. Waves has genuine potential and its the quality of the innovation that will see it do well. Its an awesome coin.
