We have seen the arrival of a lot of new altcoins in the last couple of weeks, and I love all of them. I think they are all great in their own way, but here is a list of my favourites:

--------------------------

#1 - Gamecoin!

A coin that was made especially for gameing. I think that is a pretty awesome idea!!!

#2 - Bitbar!

It's actually a BAR, not a coin. The guy who promotes these wrote that they could one day be used as a way to transfer value from one bank to another, because they are not Bitcoins, and therefore they are not associated with crime. Banks don't like to be associated with crime. I think Bitbars could potentially have a great future!

#3 - Powercoin

It feels to me as if this one is practically oozing with POWER! So awesome! GO POWERCOIN!!!

-----------------------------

So what are your TOP 3 altcoins?!?

#1 LTC has the market cap
#2 YAC (for now) because its actually *different*, and seems to be growing an active community (even a new dev forking the branch to maintain development).  We'll see if it has any merit long term.

Nothing is #3 yet, the rest are all just clones of each other with minor tweaks.

ELC had potential with its low block reward to prevent the mad rush at the start, but was such a failure at launch with all its problems it seems doomed.  The reward increase also seems a bit extreme. Not sure the global hashrate will ever get  high enough to make it worthwhile.

Profit-Switching Pool w/ Vardiff -> http://hashco.ws  Optionally keep the alts we mine or auto-trade for BTC. In addition can be paid out in any of: 365, AC, BC,  BTC, C2, CINNI, COMM, FAC, HBN, MINT, PMC, QRK, RDD, WC, XBC

It's actually a BAR, not a coin.

Umm its actually 0s and 1s in a file somewhere hashed by a p2p network; like they all are. Changing the name from coin to bar is fine; believing your own marketing is delusional.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.
