Im gettin alot of invalid shares! No rejects I just dont get paid for the shares I get. Anybody know how to fix that?= some parameters maybe or is it just cause of dificulty?
those are rejected and orphaned blocks. that is because of network hashrate is high and difficulty is low. i've mentioned it in the second post.
i am having like 50% of invalid shares as well and i cant do much to fix that until the network gets a higher difficulty

Cool thanks for answers guys! Atleast i know its not something wrong on my end. Apart from hash speed ofc :p 350 with 7950 ::/

Yeah, since the hash speed is calculated by your accepted shares, the rejects/invalids will nerf you calculated hash rate.  But the hash rate shown is not actually effecting your payout.  Only thing affecting payout is accepted shares.  I have one rig at another pool and it's the same issue over there as well.  Actually, it's worse.  My hash rate is jumping all over the place at my other pool.  But it's no big deal since it really has no affect on payout.

Pool hashspeed is actually higher for me. 450 and 350 in miner.
and 150 unvalid shares -.-
edit, and 76 paid ones woho Cheesy
hashspeed is calculated based on shares you've sent to the pool. so based on your luck it will fluctuate around +-20% of your real hashrate. and about invalid shares i've described the situation in few posts above.

Hi mate you may see me in there with a moderate 2.5

so do i just update the Account section for any potential payout , also what is the "Automatic payment threshold" field about? also i need to add an address yes? for payout?

this is a good way to test hardware anyhow.

automatic payment threshold is a number which your balance goes up to for the system to do the payout to your stored payment address. and yes, you need an address to receive payouts Smiley

came on board! any recommendations for --queue, --expiry and -s ?
i can recommend setting expiry to 60, other default values should be okay. you dont need to go up with queue since you can get more stale shares with that due to a high network block rate. thats all i got for now

looks like network is getting better now. less rejected and orphans. hope those will go away completely at some point.

sure. but be aware of orphans and rejects. we can't do much about them, just dont panic when you see invalid blocks/shares Smiley

What is goign on ..

a lot of rejects and orphans..

ANd we have a power already of  60000

So we are getting strong . And we should start getting more blocks.

rejects and orphans are because of high network hashrate and low difficulty. that makes blocks appear on the network really fast and block concurrency is kinda high that way. thats why we're getting that much of those. things will go better when network gets more stable. this reject/orphan rate is the problem for any pool/solo miner at the moment.

i have reduced stats update time from 5m to 2m to respect the worldcoin blockrate and network speed. i've also added the network speed ticker.

also, i have made my pool software to reassign shares from rounds with rejected blocks to the current running round, so from now rejected blocks will just move your shares to the next round making them paid anyway. so rejected blocks after this moment should have only 1 share that was reporting the block. and that *one* share will not get paid.

p.s. sorry but i cant do that to rejected blocks in past since that would create a mess at the database.

yep, but due to a bug in that code, few fast miners got their valid blocks with 1-share rounds. that is already fixed.
congrats to those miners, you got few minutes of solo time Smiley

Pretty disapointed at the rate of stale/rejects - i've had a fair constant 2.4 2.7 M# on this pool for hours -

thinking about solo mining? - or different pool ? is there anything i can add to my Config file to help?

(good test of the hardware anyhow : )  - )
