That depends on alot of things, are you home mining or sending it to a facility, do you have cheap power or do you want the most efficient cards per kw, do you have enough room for a lot of rigs or just one?

Hello I have very cheap energy.  can do home or office. have lot of space.   right now I have interesting deal from alibaba can get L3+ for 1800 USD per unit, is it worth ?    I also like GPU mining because you can mine lot of coin switch to algos etc.   so I do not know which will be most efficient for me in terms of ROI !

thanks

1800 is worth it at the moment.

Ali Baba has some pretty fast and loose rules concerning guarantees.  Make sure you use a payment method that offers insurance of some kind.  Ali Express has those and that is the probably the biggest reason stuff is more expensive there.

If you are looking to purchase through Alibaba use a credit card and Alibaba Trade Assurance. That way you have 2 forms of protection.

If you want to do a GPU mining setup, for $8000 you can do 2 8 GPU 1070 mining rigs, or a 8 GPU 1080 TI rig plus a small rig. If you would like some help on setting those up and what you need completely i can help you out with that if you need some help.

It is easy to understand, make a calculation of income and ROI, rember also to consider only stable crypto.
For me rx 580 when will be fixed (couple of week) and if price will be cheap like before (max 250$) should be best investement (+30 mhs on eth).

The main problem that you have is:
- very expensive cards, cause everybody wanna them

i dont know if i would right now invest into GPU mining, the new AMD Cards are just ringing at the door and for sure this will influence the market as a whole ...
so if GPU i would really relax a bit and wait at least until mid of the month.

With the current FE edition vega in account and the gaming vega edition will not be a game changer, and the requirements to pay extra to get discounts on a package will not be helpful. 1080 TI at a similar price point of the higher Vega is still better, and Nvidia has the 20 series cards release for late 2017 early 2018 will be far better in the end at better pricing.
