First, I'm huge fan of Backgammon (in magnitude not size). Second, I'm so great at this game so it's like breathing. I'm one of top 32 backgammon players in the world but my identity stay anonymous. Third, I don't want to deposit fiats. You can do this anonymously but you then need to verify your identity to withdraw.

So which backgammon gambling services allow me to deposit and withdraw Bitcoin? I don't want sports betting-style services but games which allow to bet on my own skills.

Backgammon likely wouldn't work for online play due to cheating. AFAIK Gambit used to have a Bitcoin option but they cancelled it because of that very reason.
I have been interested in Backgammon, though. Perhaps you could open up a thread in Off-topic and talk about some theory. I've been told it's the poker of board games. [Self-modded of course to avoid spam]

Hey... you created a chess thread before! Thought I recognized the style of writing. Good to see you again.

No. Gambit cancelled for other reason. They were scared about potential law problems. You can avoid cheating without ID verification using AI.
You must play 10 games without cheating and provide your mobile phone number. We all know not everyone wants to disclose their telephone data so you must make tables for both verified and unverified accounts. It should be fully transparent. After that, these games will be scanned using AI engine. And of course, you must also scan every real money game for possible cheating. If yes, then operator will verify that you weren't cheating before allowing to play for real money again.

Hey, I wonder something. Other bitcoin gambling sites have no legal problems, but why does gambit.com have? Also, I wonder how can players cheat when playing backgammon?

Because of Curacao licensing or even a lack thereof.

Also, I wonder how can players cheat when playing backgammon?
There's chess engines and there are Backgammon engines. Backgammon is even simpler than Chess to compute. http://www.gnubg.org/

It would be nice to see Backgammon for Bitcoins but I cannot find a solution of cheating. I love to play the game, but as recreational player I want to play with real people, not cheaters with bots.

Hey, I wonder something. Other bitcoin gambling sites have no legal problems, but why does gambit.com have?

Every unlicensed bitcoin gambling site has potential legal problems, which can vary dramatically in size based on the physical location of the owners. It's up to the ownership how much that legal risk bothers them, and several sites have gone offline out of concern rather than because there was any actual legal action. My understanding is that's what happened to Gambit. (Which makes me sad because I made a lot of money there.)
