their email support was already abandoned since the live support still includes it as option to contact them when I asked them related to account security.

This is Stake.com one of the biggest gambling platforms if the main email is out of service it will pile up problems, even if email is out of service, I'm sure it's only temporary (under maintenance) generally no more than 1 hour. I just confirmed via live support and he said it's working, they also suggest using the email listed on the site not from outside the site.

Agreed, if the only possible way to contact Stake is by having an account while the user's account is compromised, better to create a dummy account just to prove that the main account is being compromised.
Although the way to prove that the main is account might be a bit complicated since the user said that the email is also compromised so the only possible way is to create a dummy account.
Regardless he wants to get out from Stake or he wants to use the OG account, I believe creating a new account will not be a problem as long as it is self-reported to Stake.
Once the problem is solved, if the user want to keep the OG account then he can simply ask to delete/block the dummy account which is used only to find a solution for his problem.

I honestly don’t try it myself, some user like @memehunter received a suggestion from other support about those email problem.

The problem is when you forgot to close that dummy account in the future while you play on your original account.

I believe Stake will not go that low but it’s still a violation of 1 account that can be use against you just in case. But for this case, I even suggested to create a dummy account to reach quickly the live support written on my earlier post.

Yeah it really was a strange move to basically end email support. I mean why would you do that? If people can't access their account what and can't use live chat what can they do? The only way is to create another account to contact them, which then might endanger the integrity of their OG account because now there are multiple accounts created. Email support is essential in my opinion, for more than 1 reason. They really need to reconsider. I mean it's not like they are short of funds or anything to pay some people to work the emails, right?  Grin

Yeah and if he really wants to keep using the old account he should contact them via email, it's safer without risk
but he must be able to answer all questions including the evidence, this one is a bit tricky because he hasn't login for months/years.

Haha I know this is just a joke Cheesy  in each local chat room Stake provides 3 admins  so if they really want to balancing costs I think firing 1 admin from each local chat makes more sense than firing email support. Additionally, currently most of the live support tasks can be replaced by AI agents so hiring more live support staff is definitely a waste. Grin

I emailed them over 10 days ago and got this automated message. They haven't had email support for a while now, even though all their emails ask us to contact them via email at support@stake.com.

Everything is always business.

It is one thing for an individual to endorse/promote a gambling website but when a politician (specially the most powerful) actively endorses any such platform. it should raise concerns. They are law makers and if their profits were in line with a gambling platform, this is not good. This not specifically for gambling industry but in general also politicians must be kept away from any business.
Politics and business are two entirely separate things, they should be balancing out each other so that the wider proportion of the society should benefit instead of few individuals.

Yup I agree and usually tomorrow is the official schedule (mid-month) especially US also got it today. Regarding whether our activity in the last 40 days is calculated for the monthly bonus it should be yes because as far as I know they calculate it after the last monthly bonus, not just for 30 days. As a note, it is very rare that we get a monthly bonus exactly 30 days, I mean sometimes it is random between 25 days - 40 days and usually it is related to certain events. I know you can't wait for it because your gambling activity has increased this month, right?  Grin

US players received monthly bonus 2hours ago, means .com players will get it at least tomorrow or a day after tomorrow.
Seems that monthly bonus will be back on its normal schedule (middle of the month) since this month.
I think Stake should start to have fixed time for the monthly bonus, they can have fixed time for the weekly bonus so I think having fixed time for monthly bonus will be better.

I think they give it at an unspecified time just for the clicks and increased activity on their platform. Stake calls Monthly bonus as "the most awaited bonus" on their platform. Creates a buzz ever month. Well, I hope we get monthly tomorrow morning. I just VIP leveled up so expecting a decent bonus. Waiting patiently.

Not only usually but it is what is written in their help center page, what we do not know is when there is a gap between monthly is more than 30days.
If we try to think positively, of course they do count the actual gap from the previous monthly bonus but there must be some people who think about it in the opposite way.
That's why it is better to have fixed time, although I know that this non-fixed schedule also give them a benefit especially in social media since most users will always try to post "when monthly" anytime it is closer to the monthly time.

Nah, no wager gets lost, don't worry. It's gonna be monthly to monthly. Eddie confirmed about 100 times on stream already in the past when the gap was a little bit bigger. I mean, anything else would be unfair for the players since they would lose eligible wager obviously. Then the complain train would be rolling hard.

So no worries, it's gonna be 40 days of gameplay in this month's bonus, so it should be a bigger one obviously.

Stake has a rules of 1 account only on each house hold which means what you said is truly a risk for jeopardizing the OG account that has security issue.
If it's urgent, I don't think it's a problem if he creates another account just to confirm closing the account, in fact he also wants to get out of Stake right? so there is nothing to worry, imo. Unless he wants to keep using one of the accounts then that would be a problem.
Agreed, if the only possible way to contact Stake is by having an account while the user's account is compromised, better to create a dummy account just to prove that the main account is being compromised.
Although the way to prove that the main is account might be a bit complicated since the user said that the email is also compromised so the only possible way is to create a dummy account.
Regardless he wants to get out from Stake or he wants to use the OG account, I believe creating a new account will not be a problem as long as it is self-reported to Stake.
Once the problem is solved, if the user want to keep the OG account then he can simply ask to delete/block the dummy account which is used only to find a solution for his problem.

What about asking for help from someone we know. like a friend who also has an account on Stake?...

I think that would be much safer, right?

but it would certainly be much more convenient if there were a service available that allowed us to contact them via email. That way, we could send any necessary proof or documents via email.
