Electrum Wallet will not open

I've been trying to open my Electrum wallet 2.7.12 but it just wont come up.  Most of the time its on my toolbar and I can access it easily.  Sometimes, like today, I have to go to my downloaded files and open it from there.  So I tried to open the wallet by clicking OK on the "changes to your hard drive" box and then...Nothing happens. Thanks for any help.

I experienced something like a few years ago when I clicked the executable and nothing really shows, I fixed it by simply deleting the config file that you should fine your Electrum AppData folder.

That's an old version. Install the latest version and try again.
