I been sort of a enthusiast and involved in crypto since 2013 I think. I haven't been that active until last month when I really put tons of hours reading and catching up.
I have talked so much about crypto with family members that they ask me to save some funds for them in crypto and I believe BTC is the safest bet. I got some at 2700 but the price is going up like crazy, usually there is a correction but it seems BTC has a rocket in its behind
My question is for long term is it better to wait or is the price going to keep rising. Maybe we have a new bottom?
I know it's speculation but curious what people are thinking.

Other than that I'm glad to be a part of this great technology and promoting it.

Definitely,bitcoin price is going to go high in future.It may even cross $5000 by this year end.Investments in bitcoins should be in a long term basis and short term benefits should not be expected as in altcoins.So,better hold it and don't regret after by selling it now.There are only very few chances for bitcoin price to fall again.

Actually the value of Bitcoin from 2015 until today has growth high than x10. This is a huge growth rate with any asset in outside, but I understand the value of Bitcoin can growth as now because the community cryptocurrency in short time can attractive many people on the world's, including me.

Actualy it had drop in 2014 sixfold. So its not a golden goose without any risks, but yes its for sure the best long term investment now. You are at least safe from inflation if not double your funds in few years.

Bitcoin is a small mini rocket and if you really want to invest in it, you can invest directly without any kind of thoughts. It will surely rise at least above 5000$. Bitcoin has always been the best investment strategy ever for me and i think it can be to everyone here. Bitcoin has increased it price after the Hard Fork and will still continue to be. If you trust bitcoins, put your money in.

I'm sure Bitcoin will certainly continue to amazing and provide a satisfactory advantage to us. Lucky us who are close to Bitcoin and can not be far from bitcoin. Great! If you got yours at $2700 then you are almost getting $1000 per BTC in profit. That is something to look forward to. I guess this price surge will continue more than $4000. And then there's some dipping in Oct-Nov and then perhaps double.

I think that there is no dips in bitcoin for this year because the dips are already done in the past weeks because of the panic of the august 1 drama. In my opinion, the rest of the months of this year will be completely a bull run up to 5,000 USD bitcoin price and in the next year, we will see a lower price again and the cycle will repeat.

Exactly, I'm hoping for the correction to get little more, I got in at 2700 and Again at 3000 and it keeps rising.
One thing I don't really know is if I want to take profit and wait for a dip, what currency do I go to. Sites like bittrex don't sell into dollar. Going to other crypto has its risk as well.
I'm actually a holder but with BTC, Ethereum, ltc all rising so much there has to be a correction even if it's a small one.
Any tips on that?

I watched a video where this guy talked about the price going to 1milj and what would be required. Basically we need to go from billion to trillions market cap to see a rise like that. Its not impossible but maybe unlikely in our lifetime. I do hope though

Yes, it will definitely take a lot time to reach $100,000. I can't predict that price but I can predict of $4000. Bitcoin is the faster growing currency along all. Perhaps it may be due to its being decentralized. It is always have been profitable. Purchasing bitcoins now and selling at the end of September will also surely be profitable. Many more new users are joining cryptocurrency field and it is good for the future of bitcoins.

it is impossible to tell with bitcoin. i don't know how DannyHamilton is 100% sure but what i say is that there is a pretty good chance that in long term price will keep on rising. it is a very simple supply and demand relationship and because the supply is limited and fixed and at the same time the demand is rising, price will rise.

but you know, bitcoin is still a new technology. it is even still in beta! and the market is too small and too volatile. which is why i say a "pretty good chance" instead of being 100% sure.

DannyHamilton is one of the persons with the most knowledge about bitcoin in the entire forum, however it is not important if bitcoin ever reaches that amount, the important message is that bitcoin is going to become extremely valuable in the future, so much that just holding one can be a life changer.
