US - Buying from Bitmain

Hi guys,

I am not sure if the question fits to any existing topics.

I am based in the US and (at least recently) Bitmain opened for pre-orders around 5AM (US time) and the pre-orders have been open for less than one hour. How did you guys in the US manage to buy any miners from Bitmain?

I'm based in the US too and I set an alarm to wake myself up at 4:45AM to get ready...

If you know exactly what time the sale starts...be around at that time. Simple as that.

I'd also recommend logging into your account before 5am so that you don't get delayed by the login process. You should setup your default address in your profile settings to expedite the checkout process.

If I don't, how to get them? Examples are recent pre-orders for L3+ and D3. Bitmain's announcements came from nowhere, just minutes before the start of the pre-orders.

I got an e-mail from Bitmain earlier this week. August 10, 5PM GMT+8 (so...5AM EST). Usually they don't send the e-mail until a few hours before the sale, but this time they sent it days ahead it seems. So tomorrow night, go to sleep early and set your alarm for a few minutes before 5AM, so you can login ahead of time as CryptoCrane mentioned.

To get on the mailing list, I'm pretty sure I had to bug them to add me by submitting support tickets regarding ordering.
