Hi,

If you get locked out of your Block.io wallet due to too many 2FA attempts, you may experience some wait time while trying to reach their support staff*.  The solution, I have found, is to reset your account's password.

If you cannot go through that process due to lost email or some other issue, this solution won't work, of course.

Just a self-help tip for anyone researching Block.io after having issues with their service Tongue

* Do they even have support staff?

I have only used them to accept few bitcoin payments in my webpage before so don't have any idea about how good their support system is.
It looks like they are no more active in their social media accounts both in twitter and facebook. I have also gone through their anonymous chat channel at freenode but couldn't find anyone there available to answer my questions.

You can try your luck by contacting them via contact form they have here https://block.io/contacts

Why bother to login with different password in the login page if you can reset your password on the first place then this would never happen. Anyways only the support of block.io can help you this time so try to contact them which was linked above post.

Delayed support do really sucks on any services which this is one of the things I do seek when I decide to engage on a certain service/site because if I found out that they do have bad support then that's the time I do skip. The thing or self-tip that you said was just a common sense thing step for us to do. Don't bruteforce if you don't really know the passcode/2fa since you can just simply click the forgot password link.

Since its a block chain explorer i think they had support staff.. like other said services with delayed support are really frustrating
If you do too many too 2fa attempts better to use the forgot button before your account will be locked there are times in some wallet can be lock your wallet because of too many attempts.
And if you no longer access to your email its impossible to recover your wallet unless if you can prove that you are owner if your account ID verified.
But i think they are not asking for the ID..
If there is a support in block.io well i think they can help to recover your account. .
