This seems interesting, I would give it a try but I think one should focus on the further scope, opportunities and possibilities rather than spending time in 'what if then that' kind of stuff. Even though past performance can not assure the same returns, still it gives a little idea about the possible trend of the future and also highlights the maximum high and low achievable levels in raw format.

But, I get it now, yes, it's not so important but could influence people's minds to think what if I invest right now, and I could be a millionaire maybe someday in the future, maybe it takes 10-20 years but it's worth I guess.
The point is, to believe in bitcoin as it has been proven all this time to achieve unbelievable value and its potential still waiting to be revealed. It's not too late, as we're still in the early phase of bitcoin development and there are many countries will regulate or support bitcoin economics in the next few years for sure.

I think it brought a lot of awarness to people outside of bitcoin which was kind of the goal although it was a simple side project...

PS: If someone wants to collaborate, I am working also on cryptotimeline.com but still need help gathering facts, it is open source and hope to make it a good resource for crypto people..

A few suggestions for you:

-Allow numbers bigger than $10,000 so we can amuse ourselves with those big numbers
-Include buying into the Ethereum ICO
-Add exchanges rates for late 2010 (like when Mt. Gox begun in July).
