Is there any tax obligation to cash out BTC in the UK

I am planning to cash out some of my coins. Is there any tax obligation in UK that will stop me to do that. I don’t want to get caught for money laundering and undisclosed income penalties .

How much are you thinking on cashing out? Unless it's serious money, you're unlikely to be found out. I think you could argue that profits have been speculative too, meaning it would be be similar to a gambling win.
