I am looking to buy an antminer d3 and am unsure of what websites are legitimate, I know most are scams. I know I'm going to have to pay a premium over the manufacturers cost because it's sold out on the bitmain website but I'd like to actually get my miner instead of have my money evaporate.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Well, for that you may go to: Amazon, eBay, or Alibaba.

And find the resellers with high reputations and buy it from them.

Always look at the feedbacks and ratings of the seller or website. If the shop (individual online store) doesn't have any backlinks, comments, reviews - most likely its a scam.
