What Happened To The Monkey Capital ICO and Massive Crash On CoEval?

Hey Guys,

New member here been looking around for a while.

Was hoping to get some updates on the Monkey Capital ICO, which is meant to have started now but the website doesnt clearly indicate anything?

Whats the go with the HUGE crash on CoEval? Obviously everyone is getting out while they can still recover something but WHY?

Now that they are down to a useless market cap of $4m is there any chance this failure can recover with out the "$billion" they were aiming for to kick things off, if everyone is dropping CoEval does the MNY ICO stand a chance?

Has it turned in to a scam or just a lost cause?

Keen on every ones feedback, especially those in the slack channel as that seems to be a mystery now too.

I'm genuinely interested as well.
It looks like this Monkey ICO never took place as their website countdown is blocked. I remember one of the big wig in the project stepping down for ethical reasons, but not much more.
Some digging also uncovered "tension between DH of Monkey Capital and the Waves team."

Well, never trust a monkey, I say. The Year of the Monkey was a shit year anyway.

I will definitely take a look at this because I could remember they carried out one massive twitter campaign on the forum which was even paying more than others and they look serious. But unfortunately they just faze out from the space like an air. Not until Op draw an attention to it by creating the thread. If its scam, then its so good that it didn't get the chance to even start walking not to talk of running because a lot of people would have lost their investments.

Today I checked their ANN thread and there are garbage comments and all mixed up in each other. I couldn't understand anything from their main ANN thread. Some of them are saying they will be back and this is a lie! Thanks for warning us, keep it updated about Monkey Capital action please.

It looks like it is a scam, i was planning to invest in it initially but before the real ICO started the ANN thread is bombarded with accusation and when it hit the market the price started going down as everyone was dumping and if not if you are not careful with these warning anyone would fell for these sort of ICOs.

They started and then they seem to have gone with the wind at an instant. Bounties here are not even paid. And the MNY token they have which was earlier accepted in Waves DEX has been removed of the green tick. We should watch out of the people behind this project. They might be cooking another scam.
