Hey guys,

I would like to see what is your opinion on my wallet altcoins distribution. Mostly,i would like to ask you if you think it's better to focus only on 3-5 coins or could be a good strategy to have 10-11 (like i do).

Some notes:
-The investment so far is ~5k$
-I am not looking for short term profit;would like to keep the coins at least 1year, maybe two(of course, will continue to invest)

My distribution is :
1.Neo - 25%
2.Waves - 20%
3.Stratis -15%
4.NEM/XEM -12%
5 Golem - 6%
6. Siacoin - 5%
7. DigiByte - 4%
8. DogeCoin- 4%
9. Ardor -3 %
10.Elastic - 3%
11.Ark - 3%

1.If you recommend me to stay to less coins, which one should it be?
2. Which coin from here i should drop? Which coin maybe i can add? ( i would say that ETH and BTC are attractive, but i am not keen to invest in them..maybe i am wrong..)

Thanks guys.

I personally invest in only 5 coins i like to keep higher amounts in fewer coins, From your list Neo, Stratis and Ark i have and i would sell some others and get more Ark while its cheap undervalued potential !!

I love your top 4. I think it gets a bit fuzzier after that eh? Lower market caps on those coins, minus Waves- I just think it's a win.

I also think RDD is beating Doge in the long run but we'll see they're similar. Doge has the fanclub Tongue

Ark is interesting I haven't checked out Elastic, so I'll have to Smiley

I would add XVG to the list. I think it's off to some good privacy projects. Cheers!

The idea of having so many coins, makes sense for me only because i have some altcoins that are cheap (e.g. 4% DogeCoin means 90k coins) so i am hopping to catch a good wave for one of those coins(which are pretty cheap now)..It's like trying to find the next ETH/Wave/NEO, when it is at a very low price...

I think the number of coins you have is fine, you could keep them all. I have positions in almost all your names.

I noticed you don't have any privacy coins. These include Monero, Zcash, Verge, Cloakcoin, DigitalNote, Zencash, ZClassic, Aeon, Boolberry, Spectrecon. Deep Onion is not traded yet but is up and coming.

I would pick at least two from this list to be diversified. Monroe has a higher market cap but also has strong technology compared with others that are still emerging.

Good luck to you!

Having 90k doge coins means nothings you have to look at growth potential ,Of course a coin with a very high circ supply (like doge) is going to be cheap, If you want a coin that's cheap that may boom look at something out of the top 100 with low circ supply and do a lot of research.

This is already great for me, mate. You are saying this investment is for at least one whole year. You will be gaining a lot by that time.

If I may add though, buy at least 1 BTC. This will more than double a year from now. ETH is also a good investment. So depending on your available money, you can add it too.

You take dapps like golem, platforms like neo, value coins like xem and doge, but not the big player?
Always have some ETH (Now it's pretty cheap still), some BTC and some BCH in your portfolio.
Why ETH? Well, it's our best bet atm for decentralised apps, strong team and good community.
Why BTC? It's the coca cola of the crypto (in an investment sense). You can't go wrong with it on the long run.
Why BCH? It's now still cheap compared to BTC. The community is behind this project, and the BTC-community won't stop talking about BCH so there will always be publicity. Remember: There is no bad publicity.

Good pick with XEM tho, i bought some XRP and I'm just waiting to sell it off with a bit of a profit so I can switch my funds to XEM.

Great portfolio, I like it. I dont know much about the last 2 coins, I have heard briefly about Ark but I have not research it. I would add some BTC and BCH. Tough bitcoin is expensive, it does bring some stability and balance to your portfolio. Bitcoin is the most stable crypto, and buy adding some you would be spreading your risk.
