Hi, guys! If anybody can help me with my problem?
wallet.dat from Litecoin Core was deleted from HDD in late 2015. This year it was restored with using special soft.
But if to replace new one generated in Litecoin Core wallet with restored wallet.dat and to try launch the wallet this message will appear:
wallet.dat corrupt, salvage failed!

Is it possible to extract the private key from this file?

Same problem here.
i mine cryptocoins since 2013 and i have my litecoin old wallet.dat corrupted

try new litecoin core and restore old wallet.dat instead of the new one, same error.

Can you help me? Pywallet.py can help me or is only a bitcoin software?
