https://www.omise.co/omisego-airdrop-updateSo yeah, this is apparently happening Any idea exactly what to do to "qualify" for this? Can you just have your ethereum in your ledger and they will automatically be "added" or what exactly is gonna happen here? Do you have to be a node?

That's the way I understand it. They're going to pick a date (yet to be announced) and anybody who has an ETH balance will get a proportional amount airdropped to them. In their announcement they stated their recognition that ICO's remove value from ETH so thus they want to give back to the community. |

You must have at least 0.1 eth in your wallet, but i think that will be applied for all of the ethereum token holder in various wallet. but i don't know about the more requirement to get the airdrop. Currently i've hold over hundreds token. But every ethereum will give you 0.2 cent of omisego token. |

Do you need to hold your ETH in a hardware/paper wallet for this to work, or will balances held on Exchanges get the airdrop too?
If you need to withdraw from exchanges can anyone suggest a decent wallet?

There are not much information about the airdrop yet, you can check out the official website for updates. The minimum ETH you should hold is 0.1 ETH. https://www.omise.co/omisego-airdrop-updateIMO, the ETH should be in a wallet which you control the private key. One decent wallet is myetherwallet where you can store ETH and some other ETH-based coins. However please wait for the official updates to confirm. |

That could be an interesting strategy but we don't know the date yet... and more importantly we don't know how much the airdrop will be. For all we know they've allocated 10 OMG for this entire drop. So you'd have to keep everything in ETH until they announce the date. My understanding is they're announcing a date that will be in the past for this very reason. |

Them giving you a tiny amount of ETH does not compare to how much money they made off of this ETH pump.
But don't worry, you'll lose more money from the ETH drop than you'll make off of the free coin.
This was a marketing ploy to sell their ETH from the ICO.
