Can those Biometrics be hacked

Lots of Altcoins that deal on Biometrics and digital identification are Springing up everywhere, I keep wondering how safe they are. Can they be hacked by anyone or the government and the owners identities known?

The answer is Yes. Especially if you have uploaded a photo. Facial recognition software is good enough now to be able to match it to photos online, especially photos uploaded to Facebook, which of course will have you name, date of birth, where you went to school and everything else.

it is interesting nobody offers standard Biometric ID solution for blockchain, it seems that "real identity" may be required for certain blochchain applications of future - insurance, etc
currently, some projects like Humaniq use third-party providers
do you think open source Bio ID may be a good project?

Its just another risk of having bitcoin as currency, just as we have our own real money it can be stolen as well. And people always trying to beat the system whether its to do good or bad things. And i think the only main safety we can rely on ourselves is not to share any spesific data in the network and just keep it hidden in the vault

We're working on a biometric ID solution right now that implements Linux Hyperledger. We're addressing the "hacking" problem by centralizing our KYC (Know Your Customer) service. The idea is that institutions may ping our private blockchain with real identity content and biometrics provided by the user. Our algorithm then compares it to what we have on file, and without distributing any personal information, we provide a yes/no response validating the person as who they claim to be.

For me yes, because today we are working more on technology and there are people, students tudy about techology, especially in programming and for them it is posible that biometric can they hack easily. And if there is one thing or link they know about us, our sacrifices in our business were gone same like an ash.
