Are we REALLY that desperate for new altcoins? Also: You do realize that there are people that have millions of testnet coins just laying about. This is a horrible idea! Also: If we want a new SHA altcoin we can just as well just copy-paste the bitcoin code. Why use the testnet chain?

It is there for whatever users decide it is there for, not developers. You are oblivious on who runs the show, it seems.

Still an idiot idea to start trading testnet coins.

the coding is solid, cross-platform and it'a a tried and tested algorithm, a few changes can be made to the code, but i think the basic principles of it must remain intact. It is a coin that people will adopt and accept and may be a cure to this out-break of shitcoins.

please don't sell/buy testnet coins... we need these so that people can integrate bitcoin payment processing into their marketplaces (among thousands of other reasons)
That is like trying to use the paypal dev services as actual paypal... really not what it was intended for.
