Hello,

I accidentally send BTC to my electrum chash wallet.  Cry The transaction is confirmed but the amount is not visible in my electrum cash wallet. Is there any chance to get my BTC back?

Thanks for your help

Try sweeping the private key of that address in electron cash into your electrum version and see if that does it?

It won't show on ElectronCash wallet because that is on BCC chain. You have sent a BTC transaction on BTC chain.

Thankfully, you sent it to a wallet that allows you to access private keys... and you are in control of that wallet. So you should be able to easily recover the coins. Export the private key for the address from ElectronCash. Then you can simply sweep (or import) that private key to the BTC wallet of your choice and you'll have access to the BTC again.

the easiest way is this:
1. in electron cash menu choose "Wallet" then select "Seed" and enter your password if any and copy the seed (if you have not backed it up before)
2. go to Electrum and from menu choose "File" then "New/Restore" give it a name and in the new window select "Standard wallet" click next, "I already have a seed" click next, paste seed here and give password if you want and viola you have your bitcoins back.

note: it is best to create a new wallet in Electrum now to send the coins from this wallet that you just created to that new wallet so that it is separate from your electron cash wallet since that can have bugs and be risky.
