Hello guys I am confused I am newbie if anyone can explain I will be thankful. I wanted to buy 12 UNITS of 741.  I have two questions one TH/S and second power consumption question:

1. It says one unit working effective 7.3 TH/S  so it means 12 units should produce no more no less  87.6 TH/S ? is that right?
but I saw this and really could not understand what they mean

"connecting our AvalonMiner Controller (sold separately) to a single AUC3 (AvalonMiner USB Convertor 3), you may connect five AvalonMiners. For maximum usage, you may connect the AvalonMiner Controller to 4 AUC3 devices which may each connect to 5 AvalonMiners for a total simultaneous management of twenty AvalonMiner 741 to reach 146 TH/s (RTHS)."

2. one is using 1150W,  Power consumption if 12 units will be working it will be X12 right ?

1. It does fluctuate, but that should be the average, yes. Some units hash weaker and some more, but modern manufacturing is not perfect. AUC3 is (I am pretty sure) an interface for the miners, and these can link up to five miners to the Raspberry Pi for mining. One AUC3 is $10 and the controller is $90 ( you can save a few bucks by just flashing a RPI with the Avalon software ).

2. Yes, but that is with a specific PSU. Keep in mind PSUs aren't perfect and they will use up a little more than what you estimate. I highly recommend gold rated server or normal PSUs (platinum, whatever it is nowadays) for maximum efficiency.

my two a741 hashes at 7.3 th/s with the voltage set at -2. and using 1154 watts.
8 th/s with voltage set at 0 and use 1250 watts.
i will try the +1 voltage when it gets colder in my shop.
