This really isn't something I want to do however recently I was scammed by an Ebay user to the tune of over £1000. While doing my background checks I found this site (So some good came of it!). I've had it confirmed by someone else of his name on here. The guy is a trusted member on here while I am a newbie so some will just see it as shit posting. Everything I have is backed up by evidence and I have taken him to the UK small claims court where he has completely ignored (Default judgement in my favour). He has also scammed at least 3 others each over £1000. There is also the possibility of a criminal investigation into him by the Police fraud squad.  I have a genuine concern he is still trying to scam people possibly on here.
Do you think its ok to out someone on here?

I would like to believe this is a forum. A forum of peers. If it is true as to what you have said, then I believe there should be an open discussion as to what happened with said user.

I think there should be a discussion, not an outright slam. It would be nice to hear both sides of the argument.

I've just checked his profile and he hasn't been on here since the 4th of this month. So I am not sure he would be back to say anything. He so far has ignored the court papers.  Embarrassed

Edit - I did also message him on here, it too was ignored.

I am a newbie the same as you. While I have only been a member of this forum for ~1 month, it really does feel like a good active community.

Hopefully one of the elders of the community can help. Maybe a legendary member will respond to your post.

Good luck

There is a section in this forum called :scam accusations.  Just do not show the users personal info, that could be a bit much maybe and maybe Doxxing not allowed here I am not sure.

I should be fairly ok to name him now, There has been a  county court judgement against him now all three cases have been won.  I will have a word with my legal friends to see if its ok now to name him.

You should have verified evidence so you can write around here.
