Hi when the next financial economic global collapse comes then how will it affect the Bitcoin/Alts markets in general do you think?

Will people see Alts market like a hedge for example seeing it like gold/silver to hedge against meaning Alts will go up in price?

Or....

People cannot afford to buy Alts because everyone is broke meaning less buy orders that results in Alts markets crashing?

Or will people ignore Alts and buy into bitcoin because bitcoin name is more popular?

Now who exactly needs hashes and digital keys in a global crisis?

You gonna need medicine, weapons, fuel and water.

I understand but those are not free and need to be bought. Sellers of these will still accept fiat or crypto? What you guys think?

Sorry but, your post is meaningless. Bitcoin and other altcoins are now representing a value of digital assets that are available on centralized markets. If a crysis happens, this will affect all of us, but this doesn't mean our digital assets will turn into garbage.

In a really bad crisis they will be taken by the strongest from the weakest. I highly doubt somebody is going to exchange food for some btc in a world like that. A global economic collapse combined with artificial intel and robots taking 40% of global jobs crisis would make the 2007 crisis look like nothing.

Well the problem is that if we take into consideration a world crisis, zombie apocalypse or world war 3 and people are fighting to survive, with world's economy having no real value anymore and your local currency is nothing more than a piece of paper and metal, with a gold bar hidden under your jacket you will be able to sneak out and purchase some rare good like food or medicine, but saying to that mysterious supply smuggler that you posses some internet coins somewhere won't make him any impressed. I mean something physical will always be superior to some numbers in some weird place that works only because of electricity.

We have the potential makings of a crisis that would shut the electricity grid down for sure. Enjoy multiplying crypto and fiat while society is still upright but don't count on either if shtf.

Even if the global economies survive imagine 35%+ of all existing jobs woldwide being taken over by machines. This is going to happen, and sooner than most imagine. I would call this scenario cataclismic. If the world economies crash as well I would call that apocalyptic.

If you're talking about Recession (like in 2008), not some global crisis where everything goes to shit, I think that will be incredible for crypto. That might be the trigger for cryptos going mainstream. When everything will be in red people will flock to this governments can't control/inflate and rob them of their savings.

Another bailout like 2007 is simply not possible, if it happens again the house of cards crashes down.

People here hoping for fiat collapse shold be careful what they wish for.

2019 seems to be recession year in terms of Elliott Wave Analysis Smiley You can consider this if you count on this theory.

I think it would be an exact time for a huge acception globaly and bump year for cryptocurrency

People will be never broke. But every crisis gives people being money stolen. This crisis will be no different like the previous ones and this will be Bitcoins big moment. Not at start of Crisis, but soon after peak, when people will realize hoe much money thy lost holding them in a banks. Bitcoin will prosper and specially will prosper Monero, the most untraceable fungible true crypto currency.
