 I was thinking the same thing but also haven't decided yet if i should buy or wait.

Looking at the price charts, and this is of course just my opinion and should be taken as such. I feel shift will maintain a bullish trend unless adversely affected by other outside influences. i.e. Large Bitcoin crash.

They have their product running on testnet now. They just need to check for bugs and then release to mainnet. Follow that they are looking at a website redesign and are currently scraping up funds for a big marketing campaign. I believe all this is due by the end of the year, although not guaranteed.

Not many other coins out there that wait till they have a working product until they start their marketing campaign, it's lead to some issues with lack of funds for the devs but nothing that will put too big a spanner in the works.

A strong product with a strong marketing campaign and a website/white paper (which are all being worked on right now) clearly explaining how it all works is sure to do well (IMO!)

I agree. Once things kick in this quarter its going to hit atleast $5 a coin.

I always had belief in this alt. I have been waiting for months for the price to elevate but it is not happening. Dev team seems to lack funds to start a marketing campaign. This is what the project needs in my opinion.

Hi all, interesting topic!

One of the more promising project I have been following is XSPEC (SpectreCoin). Privacycoins are going to be hot the coming few years and in my opinion, XSPEC has a lot more to offer to the market. A couple of inportant features (there are many more though!):

- low power and FAST (60 secs per transaction) (PoSv3);
- very privacyfocused. First coin which has TOR with so-called OSBF4 integrated natively. This means it makes your TOR traffic appear as normal to any provider who would otherwise block access to TOR;
-the team is very good; professional cryptographers with 15+ years of experience, way before the current martket was active;
- constant developments; there are some updates released soon;
- very low market cap considering the amazing tech behind the coin and the future potential;
- and: a very nice and decent community.

It is only a matter of time before people start to to realize the true potential of this gem. Once regulations of crypto come into place (which will happen at some stage), people will massively want to have a very privacyfocused coin as xspec.

It is hard to make prediction as this is unpredictable because of many factors, but taking into account the technology and the maturity, i see XSPEC coin doing a great x50 or maybe x100 in coming 2 years. Coins doing these performance are often those with privacy and untracability features such as Monero, Dash ect... So XSPEC is the next one not because he is new in this market but because of his lack of marketing. XSPEC has already competitors's features and more such as TOR OBSF4/stealth adress/60s speed transaction, well before them, but being under the radar with no marketing it will be a well performer in the coming months & years.
Also the devs have extensive experience in crypto more than 15 years, just little more of promotion and you will see this coin become in the next TOP 10 market cap.

Very simple, while you were thinking about buying shift, other people finished the exact same thought and followed it through to completion.

In fact, enough people did exactly that until they collectively bought more than there was at lower prices.

So they had a second thought, which was to pay a higher price for shift than they may have initially considered.

SHIFT is definitely potencial coin for 100x. In next few days they'll release whitepaper and start marketing campaign.

They also have working product such as competition like SUB can only dream. My price speculation for next two weeks is price around 20-30 USD.
