A little explanation for what we are doing:We are working with small businesses that have a solid product or service, but need more funding to reach their full potential. These businesses are experiencing as much as 20% growth every year, but they require a little more funding and some experienced mentorship in order to really tip the scale.
Funding options for small businesses are slim. 85% of small businesses fail within the first year due to a lack of funding. When banks deny a loan application or don’t meet , they may turn to crowd funding or investor funding. Crowd funding isn’t anyone’s favorite or most viable option, and the requirements to invest in a small business are steep! In order to invest in a small business you have to be an “accredited investor”. This means you have to have a net worth of at least $1M (not including the value of your home).
We thought: Wouldn’t it be great if anyone, not just millionaires, could invest in a small business and receive direct returns for their investment? Then we came up with a solution to an every day problem. Our solution provides a decentralized platform for ANYONE to invest in small businesses, and for added value it gives these small businesses a simple platform to reward their investors financially with the growth and success of their company.
